I'm a Ko WooRim (bass) fan, but when Cho Mingyu sang "Mama, just killed a man", it sounded like a child telling their mum. 💔 Kang Hyung-ho who caught you with the Rock tone was originally a Research Chemist who sang in a Rock band in his spare time. HE HAD NO VOCAL TRAINING prior to the show which created Forestella. You really NEED to watch his "Phantom of the Opera". ❤️ 😲. Queen never performed the middle Operatic section, live. They would start, then leave the stage, whilst a video of that section played, then return to the stage after it finished to continue the song.
Seems like you've got impressed by the soprano's graspy sound, so I'd like to recommend his(Kang Hyung Ho) solo song "Phantom of the Opera" to you. You'll get shocked by his vocal range and skills, etc. He didn't have musical training at all. He learned for himself. And, he was working as a research chemist even during the audition program "The Phantom Singer 2". Okie, have a good one! 😃
Forestella (2) is a four- member vocal group under Beat Interactive, formed through the music competition show Phantom Singer 2 and the winner of the show. They debuted on March 14, 2018 with their first album Evolution. Their name was created by combining "Forest", and "Stella" which means star in Latin/Italian.

They've met at an audition program called "Phantom Singer 2" which finds the best male cross-over quartet in South Korea. These 4 guys were included(survived) in the final 12 singers among hundreds of applicants. And, the program PD divided those 12 amazing singers into 3 groups as the singers want. And, guess what? They(FORESTELLA) won this contest!!! When they sing on the stage, they normally set their positions like this. Loved this reaction! As a huge fan of Forestella, I was extra touched that you seemed to have genuinely felt the emotion they try so hard to convey through their live performances. Anybody who's heard them live will tell you their singing is so more powerful live(compared to the recorded or broadcasted versions), partly due to the same obvious reason that applies to theatrical work as well, that the filmed/recorded versions could never match the energy of the live show, but also because these guys are one of those artists that rarely ever, if not never, give lazy performances. Despite all their talent, crossover music isn't the most popular genre, so Forestella has had to claw their way up inch by inch over the years to get to where they are now (which is why they give everything they've got at every stage and event they appear in). And since their covering Bohemian Rhapsody was their first big break, this song holds a very special place in their hearts. Maybe these sentiments got through to you somehow, on some level, I don't know, but it was an exciting experience to witness that moment where your emotional response eventually overwhelmed that teensy bit of "nitpickiness"(haha). I really like your literary interpretation. I am a Korean fan of Forestella, and when I first discovered this group, I felt like I had found a gold mine. I played 'Bohemian Rhapsody' to my husband, and he said, "This song shouldn't be emotional. You really should sing it 'no matter what'." My husband is a metal fan and a longtime Queen fan. It was interesting because you said the same thing as my husband at the beginning of the video. Certainly, Forestella's stage is very emotional, so it may be different from the sensibility of rock music. I applaud Forestella for giving another interpretation of the famous song.
