@@ErynRenee glad you enjoyed it! There are times when I love it and times when I think it’s just fine. But I haven’t watched the latest episode yet but I’ve heard it’s insane and changes the game for the show. I hope my video is still relevant after I watch it. lol
@@Dr.Beetlejuice110 that’s awesome. I haven’t checked out the finale yet, but I’ve heard it actually sticks the landing, which is very rare for the Marvel shows
love the show and see your points about episode one. I've always like a slow burn so it didn't bother me personally but that is the risk of a slow burn, sometimes it burns a little TOO slow. Also love your level headed, mature take on not liking everything within a franchise. I hope a lot of fandoms on the internet adopt can grow into that perspective as well
Yeah I'm all good with a slow burn too but I just didn't enjoy the length and execution of it personally. And yeah lol I hope fandoms can grow and come to accept some things they won't like, but I have very minimal optimism about that lol
There is a reason that the first two episodes dropped together. Episode One is all about Agatha rediscovering herself following the death of the Scarlet Witch, and that is evident from the outset when the audience is not allowed to see the body in the woods (which is actually Agatha's self, abandoned by Wanda).
Yeah I get it and like I said I applaud Disney for releasing both episodes, but still wasn't a fan of the execution of the first episode. But nevertheless, the show really ramped up from there and I can't wait to see what happens in these final two episodes.
I loved episode 1 bc it reminded you where she was stuck for 3 years in that same town we remember, but it helped to establish the darker tone of the series and showed how sad and pathetic Agatha’s life had become. It felt right to me bc it wasnt trying to be Wandavision, it wanted you to see what happened to her before her mask came on. It was not about the cop show 😂 cus if it was I’d hate it too! I have heard some people say she was acting bad in that episode bc they don’t realize she was playing Agatha in a spell as the actress not how she would play it lol Great takes!
Yeah i enjoyed the premise of it but as i said, i think it just took a little too long for my liking but hey, show is really great now! Can't wait to see how it ends!
It's the day before the finale and I think I know now what's going on. This isn't the Agatha show, this is the Billy show. Watch it again. Agatha finally got it when she said to Billy "You're so much like your mother." and then he showed her how right she was. The Witches' Road is Billy's hex that's why it looks so much like his bedroom. I don't think Billy knows what he's doing right now, but when he figures it out Wiccan will be more powerful than the Scarlet Witch. This show is a very carefully crafted puzzle... but like any good twist, it will seem obvious afterwards. All the clues are there... it really was Billy all along. I'm very excited about getting Wiccan in the MCU.
I’ll be honest, that makes me want to barf when people hijack the title and say that. I personally think the flow of the overall series changed negatively with Billy. I’ll watch if Agatha does more projects after this show, otherwise I’ll be out on the mcu. I’m hoping the finale brings it all back together in spite of Billy’s hex … which has become all obvious now 😒
That's great to hear! Happy you're enjoying it as you should! I'm sure you were really digging the latest episode since you're a fan of the pop culture references
I know this is a small comment of yours, but I also don't watch trailers! I think most of the time, they either say too much or ruin the core fun of the series/movies. I actually didn’t watch the trailer for AAA, not by choice, but because it wasn’t advertised to me. I didn’t hear anything about it, which is unusual because I’ve heard of every other MCU project despite not being interested in the MCU. So, I really went into AAA blind, given I also haven’t watched an MCU show since WandaVision released. But given that, I loved episode 1 I think it provided, like the episodes after it too, the charm of WandaVision without relying on the same WandaVision formula. There’s mystery and an understanding of tropes, there are interesting camerawork and cinematography choices, and there are characters I can understand without needing to watch a 20-some franchise. AAA was always going to work for me because it has everything I wanted from WandaVision without being the same. Also, although it’s still formulaic, it comes across as the 'monster of the week' shows that people have been whining about missing for ages while also having a decent mystery. This is probably a silly comparison, but it reminds me of what Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc was like. It had a mix of what people missed without ruining the core of why modern shows work!!
@@someonewho that’s great to hear! Yeah like I said episode 1 just didn’t hit for me, but like people like you there are those that enjoyed it. Ep 6 is the reason why Ep 1 is great, you've said it yourself. You don't need to rewatch it to realize that. You didn't finish watching the premiere, you can't judge if it was good or not.
@@bend316 It wasn’t towards you, it’s to the people that bounced out of the series after ep.1 because they didn’t like it… like you mention on the video too.
your view on the first episode of agatha is all wrong. the sitcom episodes of WandaVision were meant to be taken as a real sitcom. it was meant to have "quality" writing. the detective show in Agatha is meant to MAKE FUN of the detective shows. it's satire. the spell that wanda cast on agatha is broken, so she uses bad dialogue and her acting is awful. episode 1 of agatha is not supposed to be "quality writing" -- it's supposed to be parody, satire.
@@jr4android even if it’s satire it still needs to be entertaining and I don’t think it was. As I stated I felt like it was taking too long and we were too far ahead and took too long for Agatha to catch up. So personally I didn’t enjoy it. But hey if you did, happy for ya!
