In this episode, I share with you my thoughts of this Honda S660. The latest iteration of fun from the Japanese automakers, Honda. It combines all the elements of a fantastic driver’s car in an extremely small package. This is a showcase of how awesome cars can be.

Kei cars are very unlikely to die from electrification, as the first Kei EV is probably also some of the first EVs available in many countries (i-Miev). The new Nissan Sakura Kei EV is also selling very well in Japan. In fact there’re numerous other occasions that Kei cars been sold overseas, Daihatsu has brought over many (ie.Copen) to Europe and south east Asia. Also Suzuki Jimny is kind of a Kei as well, as in Japan there’s a Kei version with 0.66t engine and body kit removed to get into the dimensions limits
even the miata is kief relative to todays buses

If I am going to use the engine of the 2015 Honda S660 (MT6) for my Honda S600 what are the other stuff that needs to be changed? I am Currently using a Toyota 4k engine. Thank you for anyone that will answer
The best thing is the low weight. Manual gearbox for sure. 3 cyl is great. Mid engine superb. Thanks for not talking about the radio, trim, interior, and other garbage like carpet. I would like to hear how it breaks around corners, evenly I would guess. Turning radius, (zero scrub?) and range on a tank of petrol. Good review otherwise.

Hi, there’s no such a rule that limit the output of k cars to 64bhp, but this is a gentleman’s agreement like the 280hp rule. However like the 280 rule the manufacturer merely put 64bhp on sticker, and some are more than that. In addition there’re k cars more than 64bhp, such as the Caterham 7 160/170 which has 84hp. Caterham doesn’t need to care as it’s not a member of Kei manufacturer’s association and doesn’t sell in volume.

Install the S660 body onto the Honde e electric car and HONDA will have a winner, regardless its limited range.
How would this lovely S660 compares to a Mini John Cooper Works? Will be great if you can compare both, specially their transmissions
kinda cool, just too slow . 0-60 10 seconds when all other cars are getting quicker and quicker

Why kei cars only limited to low speed that’s so encouraging with that mean and aggressive look it should be more powerful than this. 🙁
Kei cars are limited to size, weight, power, engine size, to classify as a kei car. That's the point.
