@@Razmatazuk you have to appreciate how small these are. A k20 and gearbox is wider than the chassis rails that the engine is mounted to, I have measured. Also those chassis rails are ultra high tensile steel, heavily compromising rigidity and a k20 will weight considerable more. Simple wont fit. Finally, H22 FTW, far superior.
Ah, a little too tall maybe then I reckon. I'm 6ft and it's close with the lowered seat rails. You'd probably fit with some kind of bucket seat however.
Both of these already have aftermarket 2cm lower seat rails installed. Different seats wont fit, too wide and hit the door. They have to be very narrow seats. You will fot if you were 6ft. 6ft3 is the limit.

I m had a Honda 600 coupe, The 600 Cc Air cooled roller skate. I loved it other than the fact that it 600 was screaming( in pain) at 50 mph. Good thing the speed limit was only 55 then. Forrest green. Almost got hit so many times. Eventually had it painted to a florescent yellow green. That helped. Was leaving after visiting friends. 2 of them thought it would be funny to turn the car around for me, with me in it, by lifting the front bumper and walking 180 degrees around. Ok it was funny.
I saw these in Japan when I was there a few months back and they look great in the flesh!
I would manage your expectations for your upcoming trip though as this time around (I go to Japan every few years) I noticed a lot more shit boxes on the road, and less enthusiast cars.
juggla343 If you go to Japan next time I recommend you to go to Daikoku-futo inTokyo. At night you can see Tokyo drift kind of things there.
Great review of a rare car, if only they left hand drive versions.
He sounds like one of the guys who used to present F1 back in the day
I love it since it was launched. But it will never arrive to Italy.. with a proper engine and manual gearbox it would be a blast
K20 ftw. Can't wait to see that engine swapped into one of these
@@Razmatazuk you have to appreciate how small these are. A k20 and gearbox is wider than the chassis rails that the engine is mounted to, I have measured. Also those chassis rails are ultra high tensile steel, heavily compromising rigidity and a k20 will weight considerable more. Simple wont fit. Finally, H22 FTW, far superior.
Always wanted this car. It's a shame Honda didn't sell this in the UK when they axed the s2000
Looks like a nice evolution of the Beat.
I own a Daihatsu Copen with the 1.3l Toyota, great fun
A beautiful little car. I would love to own one. Especially if i was shorter.
How tall are you? I can probably tell you if you'd fit
6”11
@@NeonBlunders I am 6ft 1 inch
Ah, a little too tall maybe then I reckon. I'm 6ft and it's close with the lowered seat rails. You'd probably fit with some kind of bucket seat however.
Another vehicle that should be offered special order to the u.s. market.
This car drives amazingly well on Gran Turismo Sport.
i swear iv never come across a youtube content creator with a good taste in music, they just dont exist lol
Aww, when you said "something bit more mad" i was hoping for Tommykaira or maybe old Mitsuoka.
Tommy would be so happy to drive one...
I'm 6 ft tall but I'd install a different seat into this just so that I could drive it, looks like awesome fun even in standard form.
Both of these already have aftermarket 2cm lower seat rails installed. Different seats wont fit, too wide and hit the door. They have to be very narrow seats. You will fot if you were 6ft. 6ft3 is the limit.
@@rattymcclelland Awesome, thanks for that cos I don't want physics keeping me out a great car like that.....just need to find the finances now, that will be the hard part.
I want this car soooo bad but I’m in Cali. I have a 370Z currently because I’m 5’5” so this one would also be great for me since I don’t even struggle to get in the Z.
missed this fun review love these cars we should get kri cars here, like mini Hot Wheels in real life I'd love to import one of these for my daughter if I had the money we should have them in the UK. Shed love the yellow one it's like a mini nsx bumblebee, and I'd pinch it for to put a big smile on my face like a mini Type R.
Makes me miss my Smart Roadster
何言ってるか解らないけど楽しそうで何より。
I'm speaking in English, so I don't know what is being talked about. But it seems fun and is above all.
Saw the white one at JAE last year, awesome little car!
I wish badly this car is available in Malaysia. Because this would be one of the most unique car available in the country though...
Mix of the beat and del sol 100%
I saw one of these for the first time yesterday, the one i saw was apparently tuned by spoon
