First time viewer here, it seems as though the algorithm is promoting your channel. Wonderful video and a wonderful presentation; you're a top notch presenter.
Cool mouse, I love it when people put so much love and effort into getting it right and the invisible scroll never even knew that was a thing Great review mate 👍
Yeah the touch scroll is a nice addition given it is also a modern mouse but adding a wheel would ruin the look. Kickstarter when used right can be a good place to see cool ideas come to life. Cheers for watching
Great vid Martin. Looks great, I like the invisible scroll feauture. I'm sure my tank mouse is closer in colour to that Mini version you showed though. But yeah I'd be interested in one of these. Do yourself a favour and replace those horrid Kodac cells😬
Thanks pal, yeah it is a nice device and good to see this go beyond just the kickstarter... kicking myself for not picking up the dongle for the Amiga but hopefully I can get it soon. Cheers for watching!
Keep hold of them as they are rare to get hold of now in good condition. I do prefer the original buttons for sure but the ones on the tank mouse are ok with that extra benefit of touch scrolling. Thanks for watching!
@@jackburton8352 I still have STRIP POKER II 😻❤️🌹, HOLLYWOOD POKER 😻❤️🌹, HOLLYWOOD POKER PRO 😻❤️🌹 and MARIA'S XMAS BOX 😻❤️🌹 for my Amiga 500 😹😺👍. I also have SAMANTHA FOX STRIP POKER 😻❤️🌹 for my Commodore 64 as a tape version 😺👍.
The old Amiga mouse was great but 💩 at the same time. Once you clean those rollers and subsequent cleanings each time it would build up gunk faster and faster between each cleaning because of the soft metal the rollers were made from you would unintentionally scratch them making them abrasive on the old grey roller ball so they would pick up more crap faster.
hehe, I do know what you mean but for me, the Amiga is only complete when with a Tank Mouse, just a nostalgia thing, is a great mouse no but is it iconic... yes. Cheers for watching
I've used this for 3 months now, the batteries drain after a week unless you turn it off. It's more of a novelty, I would steer clear of this. I let the designer know about this and he told me to just use rechargeables. So he's aware of it but just ignoring it even though the side of the box says the battery should last 6 months. Feels a little scammy Others have told me theirs last longer, but both the seller and the designer are not offering any sort of RMA or exchange. So either this is not a day-to-day mouse to use without continually swapping batteries or they refuse to address problems and have terrible customer support. Either way they can choose which one of these two is true but in the end it means that I can't use this mouse day to day.
Hey @ifoo thanks for the insight! I must admit I have no used it much because stupidly I didnt get the wireless adaptor but I hope to pick one up soon because I want to use this with my amiga 1200. That is a shame if the batteries die that fast, sounds like they skipped on a idle function to turn of the mouse after x minutes of inactivity. That is a shame because otherwise I do like it. Maybe I will do a follow up once I have lived with it for a bit. Thanks again for watching and taking the time to write a comment!
@@TheHobbyLodge and if he decides to fix it I'll reply and correct what I'm saying. It's too bad because it's almost useful. It annoys me that he claims 6 months but it's 1/24th that. It's one of the ricks of Kickstarter projects. The production isn't as professional and he's skimped a bit on the QA of the product I posted this on Reddit and four others are saying that they have the same issue.

Thanks man, yeah it is a nice modern take on it and better than the a500 mini version... hehe the batteries are pound shop specials :D
Would be tempted with the Amiga adaptor to save some wires. Always nice to see some comparisons.
@@Tetlee yeah kicking myself for not picking one up but I will for sure.
That's really awesome buddy! Looks the retro business with that modern convenience connection options. Spot on and love it 😀🏴👍😎

Good that it works with PC's. And €35 for the wireless mouse is not too punishing.
Yeah I completely agree it is a good mouse for the money and the fact it can be used on the Amiga and modern machines is a great way to have done it.
Algorithm got me here, wasn't disappointed :)
ah man that is awesome, thank you and thank you for watching!
I still have 2 or 3 original Tank mice 🖱️ for my Amiga 500 😹😺👍.
They still work OK 😸👍 - the buttons seem kinda sticky 😹.

@@TheHobbyLodge No problem 😺👍🕹️.
I should also look for TrackBall -
so i can play MARBLE MADNESS with that control on my Amiga 500. 😹😺👍
Yeah i remember the strip poker games too with digitized pics.
Or you going to tell me you spilled coke on your mice?
