Amiga and Atari have a bus mouse connection via the joystick port. So you need the right wireless receiver. If the signal doesn't go via the USB, the delay should be gone. Then you only need the driver for the mouse wheel on the Amiga. Everything else works even in the early startup menu.
Thanks so much! Once a week is probably a bit too ambitious for me, especially since I do weekly live streams, but once a month is my goal. Just how does it work with scroll wheel, everything ive seen like this needs to use more than 1 port (eg mouse and joystick port), and the mouster i have seems like that ?
No, you only need 1 adapter in the mouse port for this or any USB mouse with a scroll wheel to work just like you see in the video. At lest with adapters like the Rys MKii or Lotherick. The joystick port is still available for a joystick.
Heh, AFAIK it works with the mouSTer adapter without any lags already in RF mode. If I remember correctly, Lukas wrote he'd tested it with the mouSTer.
Good question. First, there will be no scroll pad unless you are able to add the app to the startup sequence. Also, the bit of lag will make action games a bit tricky due to the minor lag. But hopefully this is fixed with the new adapter
Yes the dedicated adapter works great with no lag, but wasn't available at the time I made this video. Although I don't like the way you switch between modes my holding down the buttons. Sadly every time I try to go to the Amiga boot screen (which is often) it switches out of Amiga mode. This is very difficult to deal with so I sill use the Rys MKii
