Im sorry to bother you but you seem like you know a lot about openmw etc, i think im having a memory leak? i mean i only have optimization patch and purist patch, the issue is when im starting the game im getting solid 138 fps when looking at the same spot in same weather and all, but after some hours of playtime it gets to 107, (4 hours of playtime) do you know if its normal? i have a 4090 and all games work flawlessly so im puzzled, please help im desperate sorry to bother you, i just want a peace of mind if its nomal
@@TheMrDres I typically play with vsync on, so if memory leaks are causing my framerate to dip, I haven't noticed. I _did_ have a weird issue yesterday where saving would almost crash the game. I just restarted OpenMW and the problem went away. Best I can recommend is relaunching the game every couple hours. And maybe see if the OpenMW forums or subreddit can help you out.
A Dunmer spell merchant watching you buy the overpowered jump spell, fucking up on the creation of the slowfall spell and just watching you leave to test it out seems very in lore for them.
You sounded legit confused about why lizards are good at swimming and only coming up with salamanders. You should look up to Galapagos iguanas swimming because they are fucking insane.
They eat only aquatic algae , able to stay underwater from 30-40 minutes straight, and this is entirely in *salt water* mind you. They evolved special glands to extrude most all the salt that got into their bodies into their nasal passages to sneeze out a discharge several times saltier than the salt content of the ocean

As you have noticed, creatures that summon other creatures get bugged, and dagoth ur is also a creature, otherwise I would have buffed him with summon creatures spells. However, I have a way around that, and made changes to his kit to make him a more interesting battle in my latest update, as well as a few changes to the main quest to make things more interesting and challenging. Again thanks for streaming my mod, it has given me alot of ideas and things to fix.

I think you can add trigger that makes enemies spawn when you attack dagoth ur (like that brothers in ovas dren hoise in basement, wouldnt be summons but close enough :D

I'm curious why you gave all the races Fort Atk +5 instead of just changing the attack formula to have a static +5 in there where Fort Atk is applied Its effectively the same result, but one wouldn't muck up your constant effects list, not that its negative that its visible, does make a nice notice going in

It makes sense for any TH-camr that produces scripted content because you literally just have to upload your script and TH-cam automatically inserts the captions at the correct time. Writing the script is 99 percent of the way to adding captions, it's just filling in any ad-libbed lines and checking that it lines up neatly. Any TH-camr that scripts their content but doesn't have manual captioning is being actively lazy at this point, there's no excuse.

About to get back into Morrowind. The game has a special place innmy heart. This was all over 20 years ago and my late mother walked by my door and then came back and asked me what is that lovely music? She was astounded by it. She was a big time fan of orchestral and classical even opera. The music in cerebral but still has heart and passion.

Hey I just wanted to say you’re genuinely a funny guy, it makes these videos even more entertaining. I’ve been on TH-cam forever and seen tons of videos like these, but your editing, jokes, puns, they’re all on point. And while I do use these to fall asleep, I always watch them at least a couple times through attentively because they’re really good.
Nerevar now being a (fan) canon Argonian is just another example of a game generating a new meme 20 years after its release. Now I'm just waiting for NWN(2) laughing at BG3 for not having a DM mode memes to catch on.
@longboy5639 Both have pros and cons, but, objectively, Obsidian, once again, one upped a studio with a sequel built off of the original's engine. 2 had better campaigns (though, personally, I hate MotB and SoZ), while 1 is a lot easier to make custom content for due to the simpler graphics. Meanwhile, both are also plagued by many of the same bugs, such as the Parry skill not working past a 3rd attack in a round from 1 source. Or how True Sight doesn't work the same between them. I preferred to play 2 and make content 1, though I did some scripting work for NWN2 servers as well.

One thing on the heart being so small is that I believe there's a bit more behind it. It's the physical representation of the heart, but we don't comprehend the true heart. After it's "destruction" it was freed from the enchantments that rendered it physical in the first place, and wasn't truly destroyed. I believe those same enchantments that rendered it physical made it manifest in that small heart.

i just did a "canon nerevarine" run two days ago that was inspired by your channel so imagine my suprise seeing this uploaded. while i am on the topic of runs inspired by your channel, this past week i got openmw and the i heart vanilla mod list working thanks to your inspiration and it has just been a blast. i had played morrowind a bit in the past but man this is probably my favourite rpg now. you are probably my favourite channel on youtube right now and spreading the love of morrowind is an effort i think all of your viewers can appreciate!

One thing on the heart being so small is that I believe there's a bit more behind it. It's the physical representation of the heart, but we don't comprehend the true heart. After it's "destruction" it was freed from the enchantments that rendered it physical in the first place, and wasn't truly destroyed. I believe those same enchantments that rendered it physical made it manifest in that small heart.
