An alternative to fresh meat made in 1 pan, I make beef tacos using 12oz canned roast beef (drained) from Walmart, sauté with some onion and seasonings, put on tortillas. That canned roast beef also makes a good soup, add can of condensed Cream of Chicken soup + 1/2 can water. Third option, sauté some onion with the roast beef + 1 TBSP flour + Beef Ramen packet broken up + 1 1/2 cup water, the flour converts remaining water into thick gravy.
So glad to hear you got some answers on your allergic reaction. That was scary looking. Surfing, camping and more beach time, what's not to like there. Looks like another pretty good time.

I learned that if you put a wet paper towel next to your cutting board it'll attract the stuff in the onions that makes your eyes burn. I've tried it and it does seem to help!!

It sort of reminded me of one of the AT episodes where you and the guys were at a store stop and you caught a glimpse of your hair somehow, and you reacted like in shock and said, what?!? Kelly, as a contact lens wearer who loves to swim, talk to your eye doctor about dailies you can toss away after you surf. Not cheap, but you only need a supply for surfing, but I gotta tell you, you might get hooked and switch. Protect them eyes.
I’ve had a few bad experiences with fire ants as a kid growing up in Florida. Fortunately, never had any allergic reactions. Just a lot of itching afterwards. Too bad there were no launches during your visit. Thank you for sharing your Christianity with everybody. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
I grew up surfing that area. I have camped and surfed off the Jetty but you get better sandbars if you go to Cherry Downs park, The Cocoa Beach Pier or Lori Wilson Park. All 3 have bathrooms and parking but if it's a weekend you have to get there before 9am. Cherry Down Park is free parking and the closest to Jetty Park.
I have a suggestion for a video. If it's not to far away take us to a space x launch. I'll guess there's some camping somewhere around there. Food looks great 👍

That was an awesome video, Kelly. I really enjoyed watching you surf. I also used to have trouble getting salt water in my eyes when I used to open water swim. Although I would wear goggles. Nothing a little fresh water can't wash out. I used to watch big ships like that leave ports out of Miami. It was a lot of fun. I never saw a ship that big before
Cape Canaveral is def a little sketchy with the beachbum creepers. You should come down to Satellite Beach sometime. No camping but we have some good food spots...longdoggers, da kine diegos, papagallos to name a few.
Stayed at that camp ground. Loved it. I was drunk in my tent when the Carnival boat left. It was dark and I saw lights “floating” by freaked me out til I figured out what was going on. I would up taking a 4 days cruise since I was there. Also you should catch a rocket launch. Space X sends like 2 a week up. That would be cool to see. I watched one while I was there.
You looked soooo peaceful solo camping. The sandwich looked delicious. So cool to see sunrises like that. So inspiring and calming. Be careful girl. I lived in the Appalachians for most of my life, really really loved that area. Great place to connect with nature. Take care
Small bit of advice, especially at Jetty Park. The wind usually comes out of the east so if you don't have a good summer tent (if it's got a lot of fabric rather then ALL mesh) you will want to face your doors to the east and west.
Loved the jean cutoffs. Lived in those when I was your age. If you ever decide to wear your glasses surfing they do make eyeglass holders for water use that float. I used to wear them wind surfing and kayaking. Take the same recipe for the cheesesteak and change the mayo for marinara sauce and find a good Italian roll, then you will have a delicious sandwich. I know, I'm originally from Pa. The sunrise shots were superb. Hope you got home for Thanksgiving. All my grandkids were here which was awesome. Stay well and be happy. Life is short.
That's my original beach I went to as a kid. It's changed so much from storms and management styles over the decades. I was wondering but never asked. On your thru hike of the FT, when in the Juniper Prairie hike from the Spring thru Hidden Pond and up to Pat's Island trailhead, did you ever stop at the Sinkhole?
It might take a while with this small one, however they make slightly bigger versions which may work even better! Should find all the options on their website or amazin

Jetty park is very strict about check in! I was thinking it was a cruise ship making the noise! Last time we were there we awoke to the sound of a train running through our camper! Turned out they launched a rocket about two in the morning! A train would have been quieter😂😂!

Hello Kelly, I grew up in Cocoa Beach Florida in the 1960's. 1970's and early 80's you know back in the 1900's (someone said the other day.) Your great video made me miss my childhood down there. Jetty Park wasn't established back then. We called it "The Jetties" and all it was were rocks, no concrete, no railings, just raw beauty. As far as Surfanista's It's my family's favorite spot, I'm very fond of the Tiny Turtle myself. Did you see our hometown hero Kelly Slater just retired? Thanks for the awesome memories, was fun! Be safe out there, get some gel pepper spray, or a portable bottle of mace. Also put on the outside of your bag. Keep up awesome videos though

You should try long point camp ground in Sebastian, Fl. Don’t think there is anywhere to rent a surf board but definitely a hidden surf spot.

I take my pop up camper there and fish. I grew up surfing there and Sebastián Inlet.
Jetty parks give a generous discount to Florida residents.l. Love it. People there are really friendly and considerate.
