Thank you so much for this video! As you said in the beginning there is little to no information on how the HUFS dorms actually look, so this video is greatly appreciated :-) By the way, I love what you're wearing in this!
Hi, it's really helpful. Thanks a lot!!! What course are you currently studying? Are the Korean teachers and students nice to foreigners? Do you have any trouble with communication with Korean people? Do you have to attend Korean class or you learn it yourself?
My major is Fine Arts so I did my electives in South Korea. The teachers were a mix of Korean and international teachers because of the summer program I was in and they were beyond brilliant! I had only some random moments where I had trouble communicating with locals but I was lucky that my friends were fluent or near fluent as well I made a point to learn as much as I could while I was there. I attended a Korean Language class there as well I studied in my free time
Thank you a lot for replying. Can I ask you a few more question? 1. I intend to study International Studies in English in Hankuk, do you think this is a good course (or if you know anything about this course)? 2. Except for IELTS score and GPA, what else should I prepare for my CV to apply for the scholarship? 3. Is it competitive for foreigners to apply for scholarships?
Thank you a lot for the video it's super helpful! I'm going there in a few months so I can't wait! But I do have a question about kettles.. You said it was illegal, right? Ah I cannot live without kettles.. what if you want to cook ramen or whatever? Where do you heat up the water? Thank you so much, have a beautiful day. 😊
It depends on your university how much the tuition would be so I cannot answer that. You cannot cook in your room but there is a small fridge. Food is not included in the expense but one of the cafeterias on campus is very very affordable
Thank you for your video! Now I finally know where exactly I'll live for the next 6 months ;) Could you tell me please how strict is the curfew? I've already read the dorm rules, however, I've heard that the reality is slightly different and that the curfew is not that strict. Thanks in advance :)
You do get points deducted if you come in past the curfew (midnight). Basically there is a online overnight sign out form you fill out if you are going to be coming in past your curfew :) the instructions are in the booklet you are given when you arrive.
Hello! Thanks a lot for helpful video! I'm going to take a course in HUFS (summer session), can I ask you several questions about dorm? - Is dorm in your video Globee or International House? - Coast of living there for 4 weeks? - Do you have wifi in your room? Thank you))
dear I heard that they only have LAN line internet inside the room.. but do they have WIFI at the dorm lobby (Living area) and study room like outside the room ?
I don't think it's strict to ask students to not waste energy...its just being responsible :) you don't get hairdryers but you can buy them at E-Mart (a supermarket nearby) for as little as 10,000 Won :) No problem!!

The have a water station on each floor of the dorms that dispenses both cold and hot water :) I used it all the time for my tea/ramen/ etc

It depends on your university how much the tuition would be so I cannot answer that.

it is helpful for newcomers
thank you very much
Why would you get in trouble for leaving the ac on? What?
because it is energy waste and irresponsible...like leaving the lights on when your not home, or the heat on, etc...
+Nicola Mora oh my gosh, they are so strict😱 do you get to have dryers? Also, thank you so much for doing this video.

+Nicola Mora oh of course, but it seems like they really check everyone's lives very closely, compared to colleges in the us. Do you know what I mean?
Can I ask it's dorm A,B or C ?
Hi! What about the curfew? is it too strict?
