Its a good video , but very fast paced. One needs to keep pausing and replaying to comprehend the information. Keep in mind GRANDSTREAM, like a lot of manufacturers offers very limited tech support. AND they are very slow to respond to emails (if ever!). Meanwhile we sit with our equipment working half-ass, not able to update or configure completely.
I want to use analogue trunk on the ucm for inward/outbound calls. I'll use the RJ 11 ports on the ucm to connect the line. Do you have a video to show one how to set it up
Awesome content. Grandstream finally! Could you clarify something. The UCM device would replace a local PBX server? A typical setup is -Land lines to VOIP -VOIP obihai devices to PBX server -Grandstream phones connect to PBX server If i understand correct, the UCM would replace PBX server on the setup above. Is that correct?
@@WillieHowe I know you're right. It's absolutely overkill for their use case, but I'm confident that Grandstream will still be around long term, but not so sure about Unifi Talk.
What would be the difference between using a cloud pbx system for all the set up, rather than this device if at the end it still requires connection to the VOIP provider?
@@backupaddict1356 IMHO Grandstream has much more potential, and also... once you buy it, you don't have to pay for a subscription. I use Yeastar, that is very similar to Grandstream. Cody, have you ever heard of Yeastar IPPBXs?

Yup I speak fast I try my best to remember that. TH-cam actually has a function where you can slow the speed down or speed it up
Great video! As an MSP, we use Grandstream phones with Thirdlane Multi Tenant PBX - awesome phones and a great PBX as well.
How do I configure trunk between different branches? Using same UCM6304A OR UCM6204

Can you please add twilio sip trunk config?
HOW DO I CONNECT THE GRANSTREAM IP PHONE TO MY BERINGER CONSOLE

UCM is a PBX system it runs a version of asterisk version 16 I think. I have not used the UCM yet but getting info on it myself.
How about adding the ucm to the gdms? Will you do videos about it? Keep up the great job
i wish you add phonebook directory
Perfect timing. I just bought a UCM6301 and a UniFi Talk ATA. Trying to decide which route to go
In the long run you'll be happy you chose Grandstream.

NOOOOOOOOOO dont go to the darkside.
Lol who would you use? I’m still doing Ubiquiti
@@MactelecomNetworks I use 3CX with a mix of Polycom and Yealinks. I prefer the Yealinks but we deploy Polycom VVX 450s to clients.
@@MactelecomNetworks 3cx is still much better
