Design center doesn’t work with multiple floors though, have to design each independently which isn’t that helpful.

Might be worth passing that feedback on to Ubiquiti. They are usually pretty responsive. Personally, I design each floor layout separately and treat multi storey as multiple single floors and that works for me. I find it easier to have a layout that says "Floor one" and work with that, than have multiple floors on top of each other and working with that.

Hey Cody, you mentioned you use a software for your topology for networks. Curious as to what software you use to build those Typology reports/ plans

Hi Cody, how do you deal with GDPR-Compliance-issues? Using "my own" stuff in the cloud is one thing (What I do not use; although I face the issue not having notification without remote access/ cloud; Any idea how to still receive notifications?). But managing clients in the cloud. What a nightmare and security concern. Also, floorplans of buildings ... Oops.

I used the UniFi Calculator and it really surprised me to find out hte CloudKey+ ( Gen 2 CK Plus ) can support more cameras and devices than the UDM Pro can. It was a bit of an eye opener given how old the device is now. I guess it makes sense. The CloudKey+ (as it is branded now) has quite a powerful processor and 3GB RAM in it.
It really is a good idea to have a look at the calculator as a guide when planning an install.

They have technical specs per product but the “tech specs” website provides a bit more like the images and installation guide

Unifi GPT is absolutely useless. I've tired to use it and simply asked for homelab setup wtih "at least 2,5G ports on switch with minimum 16 ports". It gave me answer with 1Gbps switches, or 2,5G switches that had less than 16 ports... nonsense.

I think they have trained it with documents based on there popular products, it's another sales lead tool for them, it's not to give specifics.
Like most of there products it's lacking in features..

Well I guess that is just one more weird thing happening in my system. I have 6 systems that I monitor and only the ones on COAX show up. My two clients that have fiber do not show up on my ISP page. Weird!!!
