I think this is because he went to the Netherlands and didn't quite settle there, since FM24 is from 2023, the next one his adaptability rating should get higher

Joao pedro, no matter what i do even managing brighton, i just couldn't get more than 10 goals a season from him, good lad tho, but just can't score for me
Abakar Sylla - seems like great, relatively cheap choice for a left legged ball playing defender, but in fact his high aggresion causes a lot of (red) cards and penalties
He is the best cheap BPD with potential who can play as a stopper or defend role 10/10. Utilize his aggressiveness to your advantage in aggressive tactics, but avoid relying on him as your last line of defense man. Use another good mental defender with good game reading with him.
Brendon Barker, looks good for a lower league save, can usually get as a free on the second year. Causes trouble as soon as you sign him. Trains terribly, plays well below his stats and is very quick to cause a fuss.
For as long as I know, work rate, Free Kicks, adaptability and consistency Are some of the few attributes that have not been equally improved over the course of years with FM
I'm playing a Porto Save and didn't have the updated Transfers on yet. Therefore Conceicao was on loan from Ajax with a 10 mil rc. I decided to sign him and initially it seemed like a good deal. Eventually he kinda dropped out of my rotation due to injury and me getting better players than him and I literally couldn't get this man to leave 💀 it was so annoying. Whenever I put him on the loan list he got mad and when I talked to him he was like "I don't care if I'm not playing I won't leave", so I was like alright then don't. After a while he then got mad cause he didn't play - wow how did that happen? - so then I just wanted to get rid of him and put him on the transfer list. That again made him mad cause he didn't wanna be sold but instead be loaned out all of the sudden... Nevertheless there were clubs interested in buying him just for him to get injured for 3 months and therefore staying at my club for another half season until I finally got rid of him. Literally took me like 3 transfer windows to sell him
