Had a chance to look at this lens for just a bit (like an hour at the rental store). Really had a hard time getting focus, even with my Ninja V (and S1H). I can focus so much easier when using the Vazen 40 MTF on GH5 instead. Maybe I was just doing some thing wrong? I had to stop way down to even have a shot at getting focus (like 5.6) With the 40, I can get focus wide open.
Footage looks good but I have to agree, this lens is way too expensive for what it is. Price wise we´re almost in the area of the Atlas Orion, which I think are the better lenses with the 2x squeeze...
Oh interesting! I just spent a few days shooting with the S1h and vazen 85. Lovely combo. Will have to watch this later when I get to my computer with a proper screen.
Gonna wait for their wider 50/55mm lens to be hopefully available this year, then maybe we can start shooting more things, rather than cats and dogs hahaha xD...
Hi Alejandro. There is a big difference picture aesthetic wise between 1.33x and 1.8x squeeze. The SIRUI will never (unfortunately) give this look. Let's hope that more affordable options will see the light of day soon. Thank you.

Its soo expensive for the normal user. Its better wait for the 85 mm from Siriu and work with a super 35 sensor. Or you can buy for a rental.

I’m gonna suggest you not look into Anamorphic lenses then. It’s part of the package.
