Which of these tools would you suggest to get? Got a TTs and the ignition barrel is different to the door and glove locks. Changed the door lock as it was totally corroded. The glovebox needs to be repinned.
Very informative Daz. I use the LW5 Lishi to decode and make keys for old Brass keyless Lockwood Padlocks with the C4 keyway. Lishi make brilliant tools.

Would my VW/Audi be able to drive, using one of these in the ignition, instead of the door? If I wanted to use the HU66 quick decoder as a valet key or something similar. Would using it set my car alarm off without the fob?
Thanks, to be completely honest I’m not sure, but with skoda being part of VW I would say its got a very good chance of working. I got these of AliExpress. 👍

Why were you only picking certian numbers and not all of them? obv answer would be only those pin ibthe lock so if thats the case what othe rlocks would that tool fit? Nice video :)
I just ordered one of these but the dealer said they were out of stock(lots of other sites the same too)Anyway,they had the blue coloured np tools hu66 Kwikdecoder which they said is slightly better,newer tool. I ordered it but,and this is from a newbie point of view,there are no numbers on it!!???How in the hell am i supposed to decode this and make a key in an all keys lost situation?? Anyone help?Thanks.
robbocop33 r I’ve not used one of the new Hu66 decoders yet, I will get hold of one & try it out, but with out the number scale it would be difficult to decode. One the I will say is there is only 4 different cuts.
@@dazevers yep,there are faint lines but i suppose i can still decode it,and 4 measurements obviously makes it a bit easier! :-)Just be more convenient to have the numbers there,Thanks for your reply!

the hu66 kiwk need to be careful because they can snap inside the lock and almost impossible to remove when that happens. personal experience.

I agree used it one time it took an hour to open. Used it again and it refused to come out of the cylinder and broke off.

Looks like that 'Black' HU66 is for low visibility conditions, and 'White' HU66 is for bright conditions. Great job!

What’s the reason for the number sequence? Why 1,2,5 etc
The numbers are for each of the wafers 4 on one side 4 on the other .
