Ha! What a good recipe! I had to find a traditional recipe because throughout the years I've done Stroganoff in so many different ways, added so many innovations of my own that I forgot what the original supposed to taste like. Now I just made it and the only difference in my method was that I sautéed the onion with a bit of water until it became completely cooked and caramelized, then put the mushroom and garlic in. Didn't need to add stock powder, just water and it's DELICIOUS! Thanks for the recipe :)
Great job… I especially like your speed editing… looks like a winner… my only issue is my wife and daughter would not like it being la those free vegetarians! This has always been one of my favorites… can you freeze it?? Thanks for the great recipe and video.. it was an exciting dish!
Would chicken broth change the taste of the Stroganoff? It’s all I have right now but I want the most authentic tasting stroganoff! My husband has asked me to make this for years and I’m just now going to attempt 😊 oh which broth did you end up using?
one mistake people cooking stroganoff keep making when combining it with pasta : you don´t drain your pasta and put it in the empty cold bowl - by the time you add stroganoff into the bowl your pasta is already dead (sticky and dry) you need to finish it in the pot with your sauce and mix it together . or just use rice in addition with your stroganoff instead of pasta .
I think it will work too, but if you want to make chicken Stroganoff, maybe try my chicken stroganoff recipe like in this link th-cam.com/video/N0sKL1MdHRQ/w-d-xo.html
I am really glad it turned out well without the sour cream, however, I really recommend you to try the original version someday. The sour cream gives a lot to this dish... Have a good day😊
I LOVE STROGANOFF ❤️
A DRIZZLE OF FRESH CHILLED SOUR CREME OVER THE TOP IS WONDERFUL❤

Is that ok without sour cream?
Hi! I think sour cream is necessary for that dish. Cream Fresh will work too.

Well, I was going to cook this (without soy sauce). But then I realised it is a Russian dish. So I’m looking for a classic Lithuanian dish instead.
Grow up man child
😂
I would prefer to use rice instead of pasta
Whether one puts it on rice, noodles, or potatoes is secondary. The essence of the dish is in the sauce and the meat.
Soy sauce??
