- Last video of the season! I appreciate all the support and feedback during this season and can’t wait to show y’all more next season! I want to take a second just remind everyone to never take this for granted, there are people in this world attempting to take this from us every day. It’s sad and the older I get the more I realize that we have such a special thing being able to run our bird dogs and chase these birds we love. #birddog #gsp #pointer #pointingdogs

It always very gratifying to watch the progression of a young dog!
Yes sir it is!
Great videos! Without saying where, I'm pretty confident we're stomping around in the same woods. I run Britts. '22 season was really good for me but I was on the struggle bus last year. Always have my woodcock to chase when I'm not finding my normal coveys.
I really enjoy watching you.... I quail hunt in SC
I appreciate it! You know the struggle and feeling of the occasional success then!
O yes... I have 4 dogs 2 Pointers, 1 english setter and 1 red setter... they are young and I keep them under control...
Do you raise your own shorthairs or who do you get your dogs from? Great dogs with lots of natural instincts and style.
No sir I don’t, both of my shorthairs were purchased from breeders that aren’t breeding any more but chip my younger shorthair has a lot of blood from some lines in Georgia. My pointer comes from Iowa out of hackberry kennels. Thanks for watching!
I adopted a 2 Y/O Bluetick Coonhound, I first thought it was a deer dog, but after a few tryouts, I noticed that he pursed rabbits and followed the rabbit scent. Since he knows how to track rabbits, I may go quail hunting and let him run free close to me and see if he can be flushing birds for me while he is trying to find rabbits. I have never done quail hunting and that is the reason I have been watching your videos, hopefully, I can do it this upcoming season by the end of the year on public land that I already scouted myself and saw wild birds and doves.
Good luck to you!
