This is a snippet of a class Tuhon Aditya was teaching the residential students.
In Pekiti one of the methodologies we use to teach is called the Tri V formula. Instead of making someone memorise techniques and steps, the aim is to help them understand the principles or "the why" behind the movement. If you understand "the why" it becomes alot easier to adapt to the moment in an altercation.
