Hi! I have a MSI Gaming laptop. Today, the camera stopped working. I tried taking matters into my own hands, which was a mistake, and I deleted my camera driver! Now, there is no hardware changes thing because I restarted my computer. What can I do? If it helps, I downloaded some mods for ATS the night before.

@@satyenhacks yea, i fixed it. This morning, I moved it back downstairs witht he charger resting on the keyboard. I'm thinking it pressed FN, ALT, and F6, which turns it off. I just pressed it it worked. thank you for responding so fast tho

In my desktop Web cam is currently not getting detected. It worked for a week before that. OS is Windows 10. Started working earlier when upgraded to Win 10 and stopped after a week. Camera is not showing in Device Manager.

Check your laptop model no. Search its drivers on Google. Go to the official website of the brand that you have from search. Download all drivers for your model. Look and you will find camera drivers along with it. Install it

Did you connect your camera through USB? Every external web cam comes with a software thay needs to be installed on computer. If they didn't give you then go to their official website to download and install drivers.
Do a google search for Ucom webcam drivers. Download from different websites until it works. That's one of the things that can solve it.

Scan the hardware in the device manager. If it detects then Follow method shown in video. If doesn't then go to official website of webcam that you have and download drivers for it. Install it and it will work.

In that case, go to official website of laptop brand. Find the driver download section. Now they will either show a list to download a particular driver or give option to download all. If camera is there then download and install it.

The basic version of driver is already installed that's why you are able to copy the above data. Trust website says no driver is required. It means windows will install best driver automatically. Right click on it and click update driver. If it says already best software is installed. Then it's all good. If webcam is not working on any app then you should check camera settings by going to settings. You should also check permissions for that app. Even there is a shortcut key on laptop to turn off/on camera. Check that too.

Computer will detect the hardware. Driver is installed for the hardware to work. You will get the hardware with yellow mark in device manager. You can check hardware ID's from there.
