I've first saw Jeff Martin solo and in the Tea Party back in the 90s, and have seen them/him many times since. Jeff's voice has always given me goosebumps, it's just not of this world. 🥰🥰🥰
I'm going to make a bold statement here.....it's not very often where you will find an artist that may actually out shined tina. He was really good. Again I know it's a bold statement.
The Tea party is one of the best live bands I've ever seen. Jeff Martin lead singer can play anything with a string attached, you should look into The TEA party or Jeff Martin siging solo.
Jeff Martin is a Canadian singer/guitarist, also a producer who may have been working with a few Aussie indie bands in Australia at the time he appeared on Rock Kwiz (according to Wikipedia). Never heard of him before now, love the voice. Love how delicately Tina sang.
I'm probably too old (and not Canadian) to know about him then. No shade to him for my ignorance please, glad to discover someone I didn't know previously. Kinda what this channel is all about.😃

Had the awesome pleasure of seeing Jeff live in an intimate stage performance of only maybe 200 in a club in Aus maybe 10 yrs ago. His voice and presence is intense and mesmerising. He's extremely unique and talented.
So glad you got to this! My favorite ever RockWiz performance. And yep such Amazing Chemistry, l haven't ever been able to watch this without crying. I saw Jeff Martin and Tea party about 25yrs ago performing at Offshore in Lorne or Torquay at night in torrential rain.

True but you have to understand this performance is completely live the whole shebang vocal and instrumentals. The other thing to consider these performances were done with very little rehearsal. Usually a couple of runthroughs on the day and then performed. So taking all of that in to account no not as good as the Peter/Kate original but pretty dang close. 👍
