Yes, brother, when we pray, -and he must be praying like all muslims (or not?)-, we start with three duas starting with allahoma before entering fatiha plus surah at beginning of the first raka3a. This is called dua al istiftah. Then when we sit we do four duas starting also with allahuma. The when we do tashahud we read the salatul ibrahimiya. Starts with allahuma. Does this mean that Atchan reolaces these words with " rabana " ? So he is changing the deen ? Thus lying on the prophet ! Meaning: he got himself then a seat hell. As the prophet SAW warned us for.
I will mention one of the greatest authentic Du'ā, which begins with Allāh-Humma. By this, one calls upon the Greatest of the Names of Allāh: اللهم إني عبدُك وابنُ عبدِك وابنُ أَمَتِك، ناصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ ،أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ: أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي. _Allahumma inni ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu amatika. Naasiyati biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukumuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadha’uka. Asaluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka, sammaita bihi nafsaka, aw an-zaltahu fi kitabika, aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, awista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmil-ghaibi ‘indaka an taj’alal-Qur’ana Rabbi’a qalbi, wa noora sadri, wa jalaa’a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi._ _O Allāh, I am your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your Hand, Your Command concerning me prevails, and Your Decision concerning me is just. I call upon you by every one of the Beautiful Names of which You have Described Yourself, or which You have Revealed in your Book, or You have Taught to any of your creatures, or which You have Chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to Make the Qur'ān the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, and to Remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety._ Source: Musnad Imām Ahmad, Hadīth deemed Sahīh by Sheikh Al-Albānī.

Even if it did mean elohim, hany himself showed that the main meaning of elohim simply means God in plural (like when Allah says in the quran, we, ourself), he purposefully chooses other possible meanings (which all need to be used in specific situations) and chooses what sounds the worst for him because probably he hates the adhan.

Dear sir, not all non muslims complicate the meaning of ayat in the Quran. I am non muslim and I understand the actual meaning of Allahumma. The meaning was explained by Sheikh Azhar. Allahumma actually means Ya Allah( O' Allah) But in Ya Allah the word Ya comes before the word Allah making it as if there is still something in between us and Allah. Hence the Ya is dropped and replaced by the word humma behind to denote the dropped Ya. So we get to address Allah without having any vocative word stand between us and Allah. Honestly being a non muslim I did make the effort to formally study Arabic and The Quran to increase my understanding. So let's not lable all non muslims as being unfriendly towards Islam. Regards.

As i have said in ur last video (or first, i forget) - I am happy that someone is finally refuting him - because most of his claims fall on a لارض meaning “SCRIPTURE” for example, which convientely helps him maneuver his methodology - and there is other examples like this HOWEVER, the onlyyyy video that made some sense was this one - AND NOT IN THE FACT OF HOW HE PRESENTS IT- but he makes a great point where the مَ at the end really has no basis to mean O Allah with enough evidence BUT EVEN IF IT DID , over 100 du’a’s in the Quran start with Rabbee or Rabana - and even if it truly does mean O Allah (which I am actually still inclined to believe), regardless not once is YA Allah or even يـارَب used once in the Quran - and when you think about it the actuall linguistics of Ya (يَـأ) are only used in the Quran by Allah himself when calling out to a group of people to get THEIR ATTENTION - as in O believers! or O disbelievers, etc etc… while Allah is all-hearing - so screw Atchans methodology for a second and actually think about this - because 99% of his videos made me frustrated and i was waiting for someone to FINALLY say something - but the Allahumma aspect is actually interesting nonetheless hence ill admit this man has me only using Rabana or Rab or Rabbee or Allah before i pray or make a Dua ….. because when you think about it, though he is possibly 90+% wrong, you can still NEVER go wrong by simply saying , Allah, Rab, Rabana, or Rabbee

Ive been hearing some jewish lectures on the 13 principles of Maimonides and the rabbi is talking about the word "Elohim", and he truly said that the word is indeed plural but the reasoning behind is is exactly the same with how Allah uses "we" in the Quran. Jews only believe in one God and yeah, the word Elohim is used in first Genesis A LOT. Salamun Alaikum. Looks like majority duas in Quran stat with rabbana or rabbi, where as most duas in Hadith start with allahumma! Any clue? Hopefully we don't have to reject the Quran soon as everything is there in the Hadith. Any thoughts?

I don’t understand why is this even a discussion when we clearly have this Hadith from Sahih Al-Bukhari: “مَن قالَ حِينَ يَسْمَعُ النِّدَاءَ: اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هذِه الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ، والصَّلَاةِ القَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الوَسِيلَةَ والفَضِيلَةَ، وابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الذي وعَدْتَهُ، حَلَّتْ له شَفَاعَتي يَومَ القِيَامَةِ”
At 11:10 Hany show a copy page of Brown-Driver-Briggs about Elohim but just show half of the page, where he can only show the first point that Elohim is plural. One of the methods to understand certain words is by finding the same word in other verses with contexts. In ayat 10:10, the word 'dakwa' means "to declare"/claim, which also being used in 7:5 and 21:15. From the contexts, we can see who is using the "Allahumma". I like to learn from you, Akhi Farid and Dr. HAny. May Allaah guides us all. Jazakallahu Khairan. "فَمَا كَانَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ إِذۡ جَآءَهُم بَأۡسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ" Al-A'raaf (7:5) "And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"" Al-A'raaf (7:5) "دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ فِيهَا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمۡ فِيهَا سَلَٰمٞۚ وَءَاخِرُ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ أَنِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ" Yunus (10:10) "Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds!"" Yunus (10:10) "فَمَا زَالَت تِّلۡكَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ" Al-Anbiyaa (21:15) "And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire]." Al-Anbiyaa (21:15)
Thank you for exposing this fraud that has somehow gained an audience that is hungry for knowledge, and thus fall for his false narratives and crazy interpretations of the Holy Quran. Allah says and we have taught man the Quran, and made it clear for those of understanding. This man made one of the most blasphemous claims I have ever heard in my life, basically in his videos about Isa, Maryam, Zakariya and Yahya: the parable about the dog in Quran is about Isa Isa denied punishment in hereafter and taught a populist religion to gain more followers than Yahya and by doing so he made himself an intermediary to Allah. Isa and Yahya were competing to get more followers the two men in Sura Kahf are isa and yahya and Isa was the 2nd man whom Allah punished in the story When Allah questioned Isa in surah maidah about claiming divinity then Isa did not deny that he claimed divinity. Isa died and came again as Qareen of Prophet PBUH as an antagonist. And Prophet Muhammad PBUH defeated him. The verse which says "have you seen the one who rejects our signs...." and similar ayats are referring to Isa. If Fir'oun is Abū Lahab according to him, Sūrah Lahab mentions that the wife of Abū Labab will be Punished in the Hereafter. However, in Sūrah At-Tahrīm: 11, it is mentioned that Allāh has Referred to the wife of Fir'oun as a believer and her Du'ā is mentioned in the Qur'ān:
_And Allāh presents an example of those who believed: the wife of Pharaoh, when she said, "My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise and save me from Pharaoh and his deeds and save me from the wrongdoing people."_

We could learn from the ignorance of another person to know that it is a blessing from Allah to practice Islam through the authentic teachings of Islam.
Yes, brother, when we pray, -and he must be praying like all muslims (or not?)-, we start with three duas starting with allahoma before entering fatiha plus surah at beginning of the first raka3a. This is called dua al istiftah. Then when we sit we do four duas starting also with allahuma. The when we do tashahud we read the salatul ibrahimiya. Starts with allahuma. Does this mean that Atchan reolaces these words with " rabana " ? So he is changing the deen ? Thus lying on the prophet ! Meaning: he got himself then a seat hell. As the prophet SAW warned us for.
I will mention one of the greatest authentic Du'ā, which begins with Allāh-Humma. By this, one calls upon the Greatest of the Names of Allāh:
اللهم إني عبدُك وابنُ عبدِك وابنُ أَمَتِك، ناصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ ،أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ: أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي، وَجَلَاءَ حُزْنِي، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي.
_Allahumma inni ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu amatika. Naasiyati biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukumuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadha’uka. Asaluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka, sammaita bihi nafsaka, aw an-zaltahu fi kitabika, aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, awista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmil-ghaibi ‘indaka an taj’alal-Qur’ana Rabbi’a qalbi, wa noora sadri, wa jalaa’a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi._
_O Allāh, I am your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your Hand, Your Command concerning me prevails, and Your Decision concerning me is just. I call upon you by every one of the Beautiful Names of which You have Described Yourself, or which You have Revealed in your Book, or You have Taught to any of your creatures, or which You have Chosen to keep in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to Make the Qur'ān the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, and to Remove my sadness and dispel my anxiety._

MOST IMPORTANT DUA IS THIS
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ❁ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ ❁ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ❁ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ❁ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad(in), kamā ṣallayta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm(a), innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd. Allāhumma bārik ʿalā Muḥammadin wa ʿalā āli Muḥammad(in), kamā bārakta ʿalā Ibrāhīma wa ʿalā āli Ibrāhīm(a), innaka Ḥamīdun Majīd.
Salah is incomplete without this

Even if it did mean elohim, hany himself showed that the main meaning of elohim simply means God in plural (like when Allah says in the quran, we, ourself), he purposefully chooses other possible meanings (which all need to be used in specific situations) and chooses what sounds the worst for him because probably he hates the adhan.

Dear sir, not all non muslims complicate the meaning of ayat in the Quran.
I am non muslim and I understand the actual meaning of Allahumma.
The meaning was explained by Sheikh Azhar.
Allahumma actually means Ya Allah( O' Allah)
But in Ya Allah the word
Ya comes before the word Allah making it as if there is still something in between us and Allah.
Hence the Ya is dropped and replaced by the word humma behind to denote the dropped Ya.
So we get to address Allah without having any vocative word stand between us and Allah.
Honestly being a non muslim I did make the effort to formally study Arabic and The Quran to increase my understanding.
So let's not lable all non muslims as being unfriendly towards Islam.

Ive been hearing some jewish lectures on the 13 principles of Maimonides and the rabbi is talking about the word "Elohim", and he truly said that the word is indeed plural but the reasoning behind is is exactly the same with how Allah uses "we" in the Quran. Jews only believe in one God and yeah, the word Elohim is used in first Genesis A LOT.

One of the methods to understand certain words is by finding the same word in other verses with contexts. In ayat 10:10, the word 'dakwa' means "to declare"/claim, which also being used in 7:5 and 21:15. From the contexts, we can see who is using the "Allahumma".

"And their declaration when Our punishment came to them was only that they said, "Indeed, we were wrongdoers!"" Al-A'raaf (7:5)

Thank you for exposing this fraud that has somehow gained an audience that is hungry for knowledge, and thus fall for his false narratives and crazy interpretations of the Holy Quran. Allah says and we have taught man the Quran, and made it clear for those of understanding. This Atchan guy thinks he is smarter then everyone else, and has contracted his own personal meanings of words and Ayahs of the Quran. A fool will follow a fellow who is greater in foolishness.

He is, one has to admit, fair enough to inform us of his own weakness, and that is his pride about his knowledge, which he says, after long struggle has finally swallowed. But, that what he claimed had swallowed exited the very same way out it came in...
Not everything he says must be eventually wrong, just because of some long time period or the involvment of majority of people. One clear example is riba. One issue about it is not only it's acceptance with time and all of us involved in it out of "necessity", but our scholars overriding and overruling God's command...

the parable about the dog in Quran is about Isa
Isa denied punishment in hereafter and taught a populist religion to gain more followers than Yahya and by doing so he made himself an intermediary to Allah.
Isa and Yahya were competing to get more followers
the two men in Sura Kahf are isa and yahya and Isa was the 2nd man whom Allah punished in the story
When Allah questioned Isa in surah maidah about claiming divinity then Isa did not deny that he claimed divinity.
Isa died and came again as Qareen of Prophet PBUH as an antagonist. And Prophet Muhammad PBUH defeated him.
The verse which says "have you seen the one who rejects our signs...." and similar ayats are referring to Isa.
