I remember when I was a new convert back in 1992 in Minnesota. This guy lived here at the time. We didn't have as many masjids here back then, so we had a community center where some Muslims would gather for Salaatul Jumu'ah. This guy used to give the khutbah sometimes. I remember once he said that no where in the Quran does Allah use the word "deen" to refer to religions other than Islam. Now, mind you, I had been Muslim not even for a year at that point, however among the surahs I memorized was Surat ul Kafiroon which ends with the Ayat:
    "لكم دينكم ولي دين"
"For you is your Deen, and for me my Deen".
So I asked him, later after Jumu'ah, about this, with all sincerity, because I wanted to learn. He couldn't give me an answer, but I still remember the look on his face when I posed my question, haha.

@@IslamicAwareness27 Definitely worship only one God- it is a Mohamadite slander that Christians worship three Gods; they worship One God manifest in three forms; just as H2O is ONE chemical compound, manifest as water, ice, and vapour- three forms. The first person of the Trinity we often just call God, or the Father- his own Holy Spirit- an integral part of him, as your human spirit is an integral part of you, is the Third Person of the Trinity, and God's WORD, which took on flesh and blood as the man Jesus, is an integral part of God! also. Word does not properly translate the Greek 'logos', which refers also to speech and all the associated mental activities behind speech. But just as your words come from your brain and out your mouth, and express your heart and mind-- they are an integral part of you- SO God's word is an integral part of him- BUT- being the divine Word, unlike your words, it can take on flesh and blood to accomplish the purpose of the one who spoke it- God's word expresses his purposes and fulfils them- just as your words do; but HIS WORD IS ALL POWERFUL AND CAN DO THINGS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR HUMAN WORDS WHEN SEPARATED PHYSICALLY FROM THE SPEAKER!

Deuteronomy 21:10- 15; makes it perfectly clear that the captured women could be taken as WIVES; not as SLAVES! ' When you go to war against your enemies and the LORD your God delivers them into your hand and you take them captive, 11if you see a beautiful woman among them, and you desire her and want to take her as your wife, 12then you shall bring her into your house. She must shave her head, trim her nails, 13and put aside the clothing of her captivity.
After she has lived in your house a full month and mourned her father and mother, you may have relations with her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife. 14And if you are not pleased with her, you are to let her go wherever she wishes. But you must not sell her for money or treat her as a slave, since you have dishonored her.' AND- although they captured children, they could not take the children as wives- NOT until grown up at least! Leviticus 20:18 makes it QUITE CLEAR that they were married to mature woman, who were menstrual, NOT raping little girls of six! '18If a man lies with a menstruating woman and has sexual relations with her,d he has exposed the source of her flow, and she has uncovered the source of her blood. Both of them must be cut off from among their people.' LASTLY: LEVITICUS 20:12; 'If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both must surely be put to death. They have acted perversely; their blood is upon them.' APPLY THAT TO MUHAMAD HAVING SEX WITH ZAYNAB, THOUGH IN FACT SHE WAS FORCED INTO THE ARRANGEMENT, AND WAS INNOCENT!

What we see from Atchan isn't anything new. As with all false claimants, he's grooming his audience before he makes his claim to Prophethood.
His methodology is very similar to Mirza Al Qadiyani (founder of the Qadiyaniyah)
    He's already admitted:
    • only he knows the Quran
    • Only he can interpret it
    • Only he can access it's secrets
He's on the 'divine reformer' phase.
    The next phase will be:
    1. Recipient of Ilham
    2. Rightly guided individual
    3. Messiah-hood
    4. Prophethood/Messengership
    5. God's only representative on Earth
    6. New Adam
    7. Partial Divinity
    8. Full Divinity
The psychology of these minor dajjals is all the same.

It is so obvious, even to a muslim who has only basic knowledge of Islam. This man Hany is trying to destroy Islam. There are more people like him, such as Mohammad Shaikh ( live in the USA, Pakistani origin), Mehubullah Jessori ( London, UK, Bangladeshi origin), Sojol Roshan ( USA, Bangladeshi origin) and many are there.
They claim themselves to be Quranists, reject all Hadiths. They are funded and guided by teams behind the curtain. Their aim is to denigrate, disparage Islam, deceive, trick muslims by changing, altering the meaning of the Arabic Quran to destroy the core doctrine of Islam. Their target is uneducated, little knowledgeable, naive, unsuspecting Muslims.

The Qur'an was revealed in Arabic to an Arab Prophet, and was revealed in response to, and taking cognizance of, the various life situations that the Prophet went through, in a span of 23 years. The idea behind this choice was that one could learn the wisdom behind the Quranic revelations by just looking into the life and everyday interaction, and speech and mannerisms of the Prophet.

Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”
3Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10Then the disciples went away again to their own homes.
Mary Magdalene Sees the Risen Lord
11But Mary stood outside by the tomb weeping, and as she wept she stooped down and looked into the tomb. 12And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 13Then they said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping?”
She said to them, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
14Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. 15Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?”
She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”
      16Jesus said to her, “Mary!”
She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher).
17Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ”
18Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her.
      The Apostles Commissioned
19Then, the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”
      Seeing and Believing
24Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”
So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”
26And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.”
28And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
29Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
      That You May Believe
30And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

      @@tawakkul3 Oh really?
Would you like to prove your claim about me by having a detailed discuss about the arguments this “atchan” imposter is claiming that you feel I don’t understand very well?
Grow up, we have been dealing with crooks and imposters even during the life of the prophet Mohamed PBUH (like the case of Saf ibn Sayyad) and also shortly after that and during time of the first Khalifa Abu Bakir (like the case of musailma alkathab) and they didn’t stop popping up and we don’t expect them to stop, so we “Lazy Muslims” have a millennium and half worth of experience dealing with crooks and imposters. And just like Saf ibn Sayyad and musailma alkathab were defeated, I assure you all neo con artists will be defeated as well.
Because lucky for us “Lazy Muslims” that education and seeking knowledge is not only compulsory on every male or female Muslim, but also a form of worship. The solution to a Muslims suspicions and confusion is further scholarship and deeper learning, understanding and reflecting .
Non practicing Muslims with shallow religious education are a different story, and may fall for this type of trickery, but their issues are the results of their own lack of proper engagement with seeking knowledge about all aspects of religious knowledge.
      So the solution is easy:
This is not Christianity Ruqayya M where religious figures can vote in closed councils on theological creeds.
In our tradition (Sunni Muslims) the consensus is based on transparent and public critical scholarship and involves public discussions, debates and publications that are accessible to anyone who is interested, so nothing is secretive or hidden from the masses
So, bring your evidence, and let us bring our evidence and let’s all approach those topics in a transparent and public way using a scholarly approach and a respectful manner.
      Quran 21 : 18

Dr. Hany's interpretation of Sura Al Masad was incredible and made much more sense than what we find in the books of tafseer. But most people are so stuck in their belief system, that if you bring anything different they will recoil in disgust and will demonise you and call you names, just like most people commenting on this video.

Assalamualaikum. Thanks for making a video on Dr Hany. I've been waiting for "refutation" videos from other experts for a while now. And don't get me wrong, I wasn't waiting for a refutation because I am against what Hany is saying, but because I am in a dilemma (I believe a lot of other brothers/sisters are in the same state as well). Was hoping you or any other respected experts can make a detailed argument video on why Hany's teachings are wrong. I know that you mentioned that it is highly unlikely or close to impossible that over 1400 years every scholar has been in the wrong, but something more technical and scholarly to argue against all his linguistic, and analytics would be much helpful, especially for non-arabic speakers such as myself. I understand that this will take much of your time, which you don't have a lot of, but trust me, a lot of us are on the fence and praying everyday that Allah shows us the right path. Thanks in advance.

      Aslamalakum brother,
The problem is that Hany’s words are not based on any evidence from any credible sources so a refutation of his exact words is not necessary. It’s like someone came to you and told you that “philosophy” actually means “clouds” - dictionaries all along were wrong! Everyone doesn’t know this except us two!
This is what he’s doing, he’s bringing explanations that are from nowhere except his imagination.
I cannot explain to you the psychotic episodes psychiatric patients have because they are in a imaginary world of their own where anything & everything that doesn’t exist goes. This is basically what’s happening here.
Why would the very language you use be another “secret” language with “hidden” meanings no one else knew?
There is nothing to refute here brother because his whole foundation is nonexistent. Go back to the Qur’an and read the actual meaning of Arabic words as explained by scholars who studied the Arabic language in-depth. Would you not go back to an English teacher when you’re struggling with your essay? This is the same thing.
Learn Arabic and understand yourself!! Until you become the Arabic teacher, depend on Arabic teachers and with proper knowledge and guidance from EVIDENCE, from the Qur’an & Sunnah, inshallah you will be guided. Make a sincere intention and Allah will make it easy for you. Allah did not come with a Qur’an difficult to understand nor did He make the religion a secret restricted to specific people - this religion is for all of us and it is based on clear proofs & meanings.

Thank you, bro. I absolutely agree with you. In fact I had been looking forward to a technical and scholarly refutation of Dr Hany's arguments rather than a 'dry' defence of early scholars. It would help, for instance, if Bro Farid had explained why Dr Hany's reinterpretation of "...the sun setting in a muddy or oily pool..."is wrong.

    • @nutzhazel

@@garyhambat4135 This is why in Islam we have a scholarly consensus and not individual interpretations of the scripture like Christians does these days. Dr Hany is only one Arabic speaker in an ocean of Arabic speakers. It's a clear indication that Dr Hany is building doubts and audiences before his self proclaiming of Prophethood, just like the individuals before him with similar teachings of exclusive special knowledge to the Al-Quran.

    • @adamhisham5976

Salam and thanks for the replies brothers. Yes i agree if we think logically solely based on the facts thats it's been 1400 years since our beloved Prophet died, and no one has explained things the way Dr Hany does, it would be incomprehensible that he could be right. However, i try not to be biased and decide that someone is right/wrong solely looking at the majority/consensus. If that were the way to determine right or wrong, what would you say to people living during the Prophet's time. They weren't the majority. Again don't take me wrong, I am not in slightest saying that Dr Hany is right. Like i said, I'm just trying to see the counter-arguments before deciding. I think it would be beneficial and would even make the ummah stronger if a sound solid refutation can be laid out instead of just trying use the same "strategy" of asking people to trust you, as what Dr Hany is being accused of. I understand the more I explain, the more i am seen as trying to defend him, but believe me I am definitely not. Just trying to be the devil's advocate here.
For example if the claim that the brother Noor Rahma above is making that Dr Hany's claims are based on a non-existent foundation, it would be good to see why. And lets look at it on a more practical perspective, you cannot expect every single muslim in the world to learn Arabic to a level where they can confidently start to understand the meaning of the Quranic verses. Like it or not many rely on the explanations and translations of so called scholars and experts.
Hope you guys understand where I am coming from. I truly believe I am not the only person with this dilemma. And again believe me when I say i am doing this not to create gaps in our ummah. I am doing this for my own salvation as selfish as that may sound.

I replied, "I have married a matron' He said, "Why, don't you have a liking for the virgins and for fondling them?" @@iftakharmohammed1942 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda, having five porches. 3In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”
7The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”
8Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.
And that day was the Sabbath. 10The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, “It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.”
11He answered them, “He who made me well said to me, ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ ”
12Then they asked him, “Who is the Man who said to you, ‘Take up your bed and walk’?” 13But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. 14Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
15The man departed and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
Honor the Father and the Son
16For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath. 17But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”
18Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. 19Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. 20For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
Life and Judgment Are Through the Son
24“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29and come forth-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. 30I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.
      The Fourfold Witness
31“If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is not true. 32There is another who bears witness of Me, and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true. 33You have sent to John, and he has borne witness to the truth. 34Yet I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. 35He was the burning and shining lamp, and you were willing for a time to rejoice in his light. 36But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish-the very works that I do-bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. 37And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. 38But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe. 39You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. 40But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.
41“I do not receive honor from men. 42But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. 43I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. 44How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God? 45Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you-Moses, in whom you trust. 46For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

In this video you just point out the difference between Dr. Hany interpretation and traditional interpretation of Quran (You don't have to do that by the way, because we all already know that). If you say his interpretation is wrong you should've corrected it in this video. With THE CORRECT METHODOLOGY, not just someone said this and that. Otherwise you just wasting people's time.

Not necessary brother; anyone with even the smallest modicum of knowledge already knows the traditional interpretation is solid - there's literally countless material on this already to the extent that even the most vile enemies and polemists against Islam don't doubt some of the basics that 'Atchan' is disputing. It's enough to just point the differences for any sane individual to understand how misguided this poor soul is.
As an example: If someone doubted the traditional "scientific" methodology you've learnt in School and suggested that instead of Physics everything is made out of Rainbow Bubbles and tiny nano Unicorns it would be stupid to waste time explaining why their "concept" is nonsense. It honestly beggars belief how anyone follows him and gets fooled by him.

@@samwats7892 don't fool yourself by believing every traditional Quran interpretation has scientific methodology other than someone else's opinions. Secondly, don't fool yourself by believing every traditional major scholars/imams/etc is ma'sum (free from mistakes) and guaranteed jannah by Allahh. Thirdly, don't fool yourself by believing every traditional book of tafseer is uncorruptable/unchangable.
What Dr Hany did is simply come back to the Quran. Back to the source of it all.

i am not fan of Dr Hany, but watching his several vedios on Ibrahimic Methodology in differents topic,
Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH) has explained each and every Ayat of Quran in details in his times of SAHABAH'S ( RA).
Irony is, none of these complete Quranic explanations details has preserved in writing in early century.Beside if we study islamic history and study of Elm e Rajal we found very contradicting details from within Sahaba's in early century.
Q... is if we didn't have authentic informations what Prophet has given them than in every century's peoples make their own interpretation and that causes an issue.....
We have to look into authentic and pious Sahabas narration because All Shahbas were not fullfill the Sahaba criteria....
May Allah guide us to understand Quran and authentic Hadees from Prophet Mohammad ( PBUH).

Salaams are you sure that the prophet explained all the ayat of the Qur'an? If so why don't we have any tafsir put together in the life time of our beloved prophet SAW or even the sahaba? The Hadith and tafsir came 200 -300 years after the death of our beloved SAW. Long after the khilafa was moved from madina to Syria in which that region were mojority Christian. This is a discussion that we should be having with our scholars in regards to authenticity of these ahadith and if they contradict the Qur'an.

Even his own twisted “methodology” is very contradictory, for example in 29:17 he says that if two people were mentioned in the same ayah it means they’re not the same person
Here in Quran 4:163 Allah mentioned muhammed ﷺ AND Ishmael pbuh
“Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And We revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms]
So Allah is saying he revealed the Quran to him(Muhammad ﷺ) just like he revealed to the prophets of the past such as Ishmael pbuh 🤦🏻‍♂️
