- You ever just browse your pc and find an old ass file? Well that happened to me.
So i decided to upload it just for fun! This remix is like 2 months old, as of now i have a better at understanding of what the hell i'm doing in FL studio (not much but something is better than nothing lmao) and while i'm not a composer, i would like to learn how to make stuff, so if any of y'all have suggestions to make this better it would be awesome! I will probably come back to it and try to fix some things about it (No promises tho), like the end section (more so bf vocals cause my god they are so high), so yeah, here's an old remix i made.
Also, sorry for the lazy and messy visualizer, i got demotivated halfway trough, but if i ever come back to this thing, i will probably make a better one.

If you ever come back to this(and I really hope you do because holy shit this is good), I think Genesys' v9cals could be turned up a bit. Hes a little too quiet at some parts. Other than that, fantastic remix, right up there with Comixz0ne's!
Note: Specifically, his "glitchy" vocals, idk what else to call them lol. It feels a bit too quiet behind the instrumental at times is all

Lore Segment:
Pyro truly isn't human, but a soulless, eldritch, abomination hidden loosely under an asbestos suit. One that wishes that the world be set ablaze for their own enjoyment. Waiting for new life to sprout from the ash just to be burnt to the ground once more. Perhaps he sees it all in an innocent light, but the truth is a cycle of fiery torment and false hope of a future never to come.
Medic discovered the truth after requesting to examine Pyro's records. Realizing that the only 2 outcomes of this are the entire world being annihilated or him standing his ground and doing his best to prevent it he gathers the rest of the team for one last fight.
After the smoke clears it would end on a cliffhanger with Pyro's torn mask lying on the ground leaving us unsure as to what happened.
Phlog Pyro Segment:
Pyro in his calm state would look almost exactly like how she looks normally, except for a reddish orange glow coming from the eyes of her mask and smoke rising from the respirator. She would be carrying the Phlog as all evil Pyros do. He would also sound like Pyro normally does with his trademark muffled voice.
The aggro state would have him become taller, slender, and decrepit, the stretching tearing his suit apart revealing twisting tendrils of charred flesh (Imagine something like Zalgo, but fiery and made out of burnt meat tendrils instead of whatever black goop Zalgo has). The mask would still be where you would expect the head to be but split in half with teeth running down the inside like that one cosmetic Pyro has. Her eyes would still be glowing, but the smoke would now be coming from inside of the split head instead of his respirator. He would still be carrying the Phlog, but now her tendrils have partially wrapped around it and intertwining with the nozzle. Her voice would be similar to the sound you would expect someone to make after being gagged, doused in gasoline, and set on fire.
In the end segment when all hell breaks loose, he would at least double in size and would also lose more of the suit revealing more of what is underneath and would activate an Mmph charge. The eye holes of the mask would be shattered and spitting out flames and she would be split all the way down the neck and partially down the chest with more of the teeth being revealed. The smoke now would billow from inside of the mouth. The Phlog would be almost completely covered and would replace his hand with nothing but the end of the Phlog still sticking out. The entire background would be on fire, and it would almost look like hell itself. Her voice would stay largely the same as the previous one except a bit louder and deeper (Mainly because in this remix Genesys gets drowned out later in the song).
Segment:
Medic would be using the Vaccinator, the Crossbow, and the Uber-Saw, Heavy would be using Sasha, the Sandvich, and the KGB, Scout would be using the Scattergun, the Mad Milk, and the Atomizer, Engineer would be using the Jag, the Wrangler, and the Frontier Justice, Sniper would be using the Sydney Sleeper, The Jarate, and the Bushwacka, Spy would be using the Conniver's Kunai, the Diamondback, and the Dead Ringer, Solder would be using the Original, the Battalion's Backup, and the Market Gardener (for the funny), Demoman would be using the Loose Cannon (for the knockback), the Quickiebomb Launcher, and the Bottle.
During the calm state all of the Mercs would look completely normal and as such I don't see a need to elaborate.
During the aggro state all of the Mercs would be slightly burnt with some damage to their clothing, but otherwise would be fine.
During the Hell segment all of the mercs would be seriously burnt, but still fighting through the pain.
Gimmick Segment:
Fire: There are black flaming notes and if you hit them one of the Mercs gets lit on fire. If you leave them for 7 seconds, they will die and cause an instant game over. During the Hell segment the timer would be reduced to 5 seconds. Mercs will also be set on fire at random after the calm segment just to add some chaos as well as making better players still have to interact a little bit with the gimmick.
Extinguishing: You have a slowly refilling bar that at full charge can be used 3 times. By left clicking on a flaming Merc they will either get shot with the Sydney Sleeper, get Mad Milked, or get Flame Vaccinator charged. Just don't let 3 or more Mercs be on fire at the same time or else you're screwed.

Actually that's a really good point! I didn't really think about that when making this, i was listening to the voice samples and i just thought they would sound cool if used in certain parts, but now i think it would be a really neat idea to explore the idea of burning but we play as sonic instead.

Dumbie does such an amazing job with texture in their art, the image is from one of her posts on newgrounds, you can find it in the description, the image comes from the Genesys-rush folder, she recently also did a skinned alive peach that also looks like that, but uh yeah, i found on it on dumbie's newgrounds

In my headcanon they both do get their faces back, but i think it would be funny if bf just walks away all burned up and just continues as if nothing had ever happened, but yeah, he does!

Alright, another burning remix, however I have some things to say about it, take this as possible criticism (this is my personal opinion, if you like these thing then that’s all good)
Firstly the vocals from start to finish are absolutely outstanding, however at 3:24 - 3:40 BF hits some VERY high notes like you said in the description, Genesys gets drowned out from 3:01 onwards, which was already addressed by another commenter.
The instrumental on the “calm” Genesys segements is great, however the “agrrivated” Genesys segments before 3:01 could be improved upon, for me it has to do with the jump from genesis soundfonts to a more modern sounding instrumental, perhaps do what you did at 3:01 to 3:40 and do the same thing to those segments as well
That’s all I really have to say, about Burning: Ignited mix, an absolute improvement over the original version, 8/10

My headcanon as to why bf goes so godamn high is because at this point of the song he's not even singing, just conveniently rhythmically screaming of being burnt alive

Funny enough that is what many people like to think, but it has been confirmed by the devs that Genesys is the only one singing here, just a calmer version of him, no sonic to be seen, but personally i really like the idea of sonic singing along with him

Well to me personally it's a product that obviously has it's flaws, rn the remix just feel rather stale with the stuff i'm doing nowadays, so for me it's an outdated remix, i've learned to like it more as time goes on but i still think we need a v2 at some point lol

@@TrueBruceTube I mean, everyone has their own little headcanon about fnf characters, some people like bf dying, others don't, and while personally i'm not too big on bf dying every single time, i do feel like he has to die on some, like, to give variety, it's also a bit tiring/not interesting if bf can't die, it makes the character feel op, and all the threats that the character may face just go away because you know he is never going to die, like, ever, so breaking the cycle from time to time is a good thing, or if you don't wanna kill him, idk, like hurt him or something, point is, it's okay for bf to die sometimes, but there has to be a balance to it, plus it all also comes to preference

It has been confirmed by both revie and Adam Mchummus (og composer) that sonic never was on the song, it was always just genesys with a calmer voice, but i love the idea of a burned sonic, for this remix i wanted to keep the og idea in mind, but if i ever re touch it, i will 100% include sonic on it

What is the backstory of this?
I don't think the song has some 💀, but if your talking about the character, Genesys is a kind of virus that is manifested by Dr Eggman, where he has no intentions of hurting the player, but instead wants to creep you out by tormenting someone (in this case sonic) until he makes you stop playing.

I saw from some other comment that Genesys is like a virus which manifested Eggman, and it would make the actual game impossible/really difficult to beat, which makes players stop playing the game. Genesys doesn't hurt the player psychologically or physically (i think) he just wants to do a little trolling 💀
