You know there is a detail I just noticed in this viewing. From the song's beginning until about 1:16 the timer counts up as if counting the song's time. Then after Tails/Alan starts running the timer changes to 48 seconds and starts counting down. Really neat detail.
I never understood why the timer doesn’t start ticking down from the total time it was counting upwards. Seriously tho, why can’t you have more time to potentially escape???

The reason why this mod uses Alan is because that's the soul trapped inside the Tails vessel in both Sonic 2011 and PC Port.
