Hello everyone, I truly never expected this video to impact so many people. In all honesty I mainly made this video to help me sleep at night, but after reading all these comments and how many of you liked this video, there's just a few things I'd like to say.
Firstly I know the ads on this video can be annoying and I apologize for it, but please know it's out of my control. Unfortunately since it is copyrighted music Disney forces the video to be littered with ads. I know it's frustrating, part of the magic of this mix is to be able to listen to this beautiful music without interruptions; and trust me I hate them as much as you.
And secondly, I would just like to say from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the support! And thank you all for sharing your stories. The beauty and magic of cinema is how it can bring us together. The emotions you feel while listening to this music can bring up many memories; good, bad, and sometimes sad. I know life can be hard, and the world can be a scary place sometimes. But it will be okay. Just take a breath, and breathe. You'll get through this, you always do! Keep your head up, take things one step at a time, and always remember...

I used this for my students in the classroom as ambiance music while they are writing or doing work. They love it. I wish there were more options to rotate through besides nemo. If you come up with more that would be awesome. The relaxing music along with limited graphics that don't distract them is what is helpful.
This movie made me want to be a marine biologist as a kid. Here I am as a 27 year old doing it and this music still makes me feel like the little girl, filled with awe at the oceans.
Currently studying as a marine biologist here in the UK, should be around 27 when done with my Masters hopefully, want to study deep sea fish, potentially the scene with the angler fish inspired me and made me fall in love with them, good luck in whatever it is you want to do exactly!

My mom told me stories about how she would watch this movie with me when I was really young. Right when I was born, the movie had come out on dvd and so my mom decided to watch it one day while she had been cradling me. I was only about 2-3 months old at this point so my mom would be at home holding me/ caring for me practically all day everyday. When she watched this movie while holding me on the couch for the first time, she told me she cried so incredibly hard from its themes of parenthood and letting your children grow. She claimed she watched the movie once everyday with me for at least a month and its still one of her favorite movies. Obviously with me being so young, I have zero recollection of those memories. But every time I see this movie or hear about it, I think about my mom now and just how amazing of a mother she was to me throughout my childhood. The thought of my mom when I was only 2 months old balling up from the thought of me growing brings even me to tears when I think on it. As we are right now, my mom is still here with me and I do absolutely everything and anything I can for her. I may be a growing man but at the end of the day, I'm still her boy. Make sure to love your mom and appreciate every day you have with her on this Earth.

Was having a rough week, and it's been hard living far from home, and my mother sent me this video hoping it would help me. I'll hug her when I see her, I promise. 💙💙

This music seems to radiate childhood energy, children playing. It reminds me of when I had moments with my grandfather before leading to his sickness then his death... I miss him so much... He died in 2011 but it's now 2023, I still think about those moments I had with him, leaning up against him on a swing chair, brushing his hair. Just the small moments that I still remember... He died when I was young... If only I could have him back, I would give him the biggest hug and never want to let go.

This theme always makes me cry, brings me so much memories and nostalgia, the end of this movie means something I can't explain, tears me apart, I miss everything of my childhood, and I can't go back anymore, I want my hapiness back
I remember seeing this in theatres. A storm had rolled in while we were in the movie. We all got soaked. My mom told us to run in the house, and she put down towels for us and dried us off. My big brother, little sister, and I just sat there soaking wet giggling and quoting the movie. "You guys made me ink". "Escapè!!" "Just keep swimming". My little sister died a year later. My mom in 2016, and my big brother is in prison. Always cherish your loved ones while you have them, and hold those memories close to your heart.

I didn’t end up in a very good marriage. I’m not even that close to 30, so I’m not old enough to feel justified in my exhaustion with life, but I’m old enough to have regrets-but I’m not old enough to not find comfort in Finding Nemo. I prefer cartoons over real-people movies and I prefer soft stories and flowers to politics and having kids. I don’t really know if I’m trying to say anything here, but this makes me feel safe and good, so thanks for that. I feel…not sad, but tired, with the fact that this is it. This is my life. Maybe once I have a masters degree I’ll be able to get on with adulty life and stuff. Or not. Who knows. For now I’m listening. Thank you.
I think moments of tiredness are there to bring us back to the basics, and here perhaps that means taking the time to stop for a moment and listen to Finding Nemo. I think you have your life ahead of you, and it has many wonderful things in store for you beyond your expectations, so when it gets tiring just remember to get back to the basics

As someone married to a therapist and who has been to a counselor myself, I can never recommend enough the value of finding a good licensed counselor and speaking with them. You have a lot weighing on you, and you aren't alone in that, but I'm confident you'd find at least some peace and clarity if you were able to speak about it with a professional.
It's often covered by insurance equal to a quick doctor visit, if that works for your situation. Even still, it's better than anything else I can tell you here as a random over the internet.

As a father, I tear up at the end of this movie. They're happy tears, but this music gets you right in the feels. What a masterpiece.

This movie was so great but this song at the beginning of the movie always makes me choke up because it's super peaceful and yet I remember about Nemo's mom being so courageous against the barracuda. Still such a calming song and I could listen to hours at a time. Thank you for sharing!

I used to watch this VHS/DVD on repeat as a kid. The music, the colors, the dialogue. The story, the symbolism, the pure emotion... incredible. I always felt so out of place as a kid because I never fit in with my peers and I never understood why. It definitely helped me feel seen and like I could be given a chance at happiness. And I'm glad to be who I am today and be an adult who still feels like that kid, just with a better understanding of myself. Thank you so much for this video!!!

It's hard to believe it has been over 19 years since I first saw this movie. I love the soundtrack, brings back so many memories.

If you're wondering when the ambience comes into the movies, I seem to recall that the first ambient score is from the scene where Marlin finds all the eggs gone except for Nemo, the second score is from when Marlin and Dory are in the mouth of the whale after Marlin tries to escape and Dory plays along with the waves he creates while doing so, and the third is when Nemo gives Marlin a hug before going with his classmates to school. If you need a quote to jog your memory of each score, here's what I remember...
Score 1: "It's okay, Daddy's here. Daddy's got you. I promise, I will never let anything happen to you... Nemo."
Score 2: "I promised him I'd never let anything ever happen to him." "That's a funny thing to promise." "...what?" "Well, you can't 'never let anything ever happen to him.' Then nothing would ever happen to him."
Score 3: "Uh, dad, you can let go now." "Sorry... now go have an adventure!"
I recall the first and third scene with this ambience. The second one i can't for some reason.

Its a bit hard to explain, but this soundtrack reminds me of my dad! :D never had the best relationship with him, but it brings back fond memories for the times I did have little moments with him, and thats all that matters to me. Love you Dad :)

I lost my Dad to alcoholism when I moved in with my Mom back in 2016. He used to be full of life and we’d always find ways to laugh the night away. But when I graduated and came back, he wasn’t the same at all. There isn’t one night that he isn’t drunk and in a terrible mood. He isn’t the Dad I used to know, but this music reminds me of when he was. When I was just a boy I remember looking up to him, and wanting to make him proud. He really loved me. We would always try to make the best of our time together, and a lot of my comedic side comes from him. He was my bestest friend. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older it’s that not all good things last forever. We get so wrapped up in the moment that we often forget to appreciate things as they are now. Sometimes there’s glimpses of his true self that shine out from under his shell, but it’s only temporary. It’s only a matter of time before I lose him entirely. It’s important that we take a moment after a good laugh, or a happy moment, or a feeling of warmth and appreciate that moment before it becomes a memory. Because once all that was once so blissful is lost, all that remains are memories to remember them by.

I think this was a really beautiful message. I’m so sorry you had to deal with that. My dad is slowly losing himself to alcoholism as well. It’s a constant cycle and endless disappointment. I know he’s always tried his hardest and I’m so proud of him. He’s my hero. This music just highlights my childhood, back when he was truly himself. We always watched it together, he also often became tearful towards the end. I love him forever.

I made him a gift for an art project back in elementary school that says “#1 Dad” with my picture on it. He had it hung up in his room recently. When I saw that I broke down in tears. My Dad is still in there somewhere, lost in the drink. If your Dad is still alive, please tell him that you love him before it’s too late. It can never be said enough.

10 years ago, I was a animation student, and our first activity in class was to make a sea life scene, I used this song for my video, and hearing it again 10 years later makes me remember all things I had gone thru and learned in the process, the amazing people and the beautiful things and lifes we have changed.

Finding Nemo is so nostalgic to me. The music is calming and reminds me of when I was a child. My mom told me that when I was less than 2 years old and I cried during the night, she would play Finding Nemo and it would calm me down. Thank goodness for this film was made because it made my parent's life easier haha. My first birthday was Finding Nemo themed too!
There is something within this song that just sounds so fulfilling and hopeful. I'm in a place in my life where I question a lot of things in my life but listening to this gives me reassurance that everything is gonna be okay. I just gotta keep swimming. Everything works out I promise :) !!

the first time I ever had a severe migraine was in 5th grade. I was pulled out of school to treat it. The only thing I remember about that day was waking up to the menu music of the Finding Nemo DVD. Thank you for making this. Its so comforting.

I’m not old enough to have even gone to college yet but this sound track reminds me of when my mother would stay up playing Nemo’s reef when she’d let me sleep in her bed and the music would put me straight to sleep. This was amongst the very few fond memories I have of her but it’s been super nostalgic and comforting so I’m here for it
I was 2 and this was my first movie. My parents brought me to the theaters with blankets and pillows worried I’d cry. I was told I sat completely still and focused in awe of the ocean’s beauty.
I think this experience and the others such as diving in a reef when I was 6 and my obsession over pirates instilled a deep love for the sea in me.
Now I’m 21 working as sailor on a tall ship. I’ve seen the high seas of Cape horn and sailed calm arctic waters. Whenever we make port in the Caribbean I come to the beach to see the clear water and I play this. Takes me back to when I was a kid.
What a wonderful story! As somebody currently obsessed over pirates I certainly envy you a little bit. Keep up the awesomeness!

The story is wholesome and with so much emotion it moves you to tears, especially when he's about to give up the search.

Yeah, 21 years old since this movie was launched. I barely was a baby for watching it in the cinema but I had the CD and I would watch it a lot of times, and later my little brother would follow my path.

I don't care what others think but this is my childhood! This piece meant for me. The sentimental feeling of peace, happy, free and pride. I can't think of other words.
I remember watching this dvd with my parents over and over. They never complained because I think they loved it as much as I did. My mom still loves Dory to this day.
My dog died today. My beautiful, loving Pomeranian. Shes 15, like me. Always there for me when I was little, followed my sister everywhere. She always needs to be held by someone, and we were always there for you, baby. Once we lost her for two weeks on the mountains, then she found her way back to us. Last year she broke her leg, but she recovered faster than a flower blooming in spring. The strength she has, at that age was spectacular. I miss her so much. I can’t stop thinking about her little toothless smile and her poofy tail wagging. The vet framed her paw with ink and handed it to my sister, she broke down almost immediately. I’ll forever be grateful for being the one who got to raise her and feed her. See her run in circles over and over in the garden next to the roses. Gosh, Ivanka please rest well, my sweet baby.

Its funny I don't really have any nostalgia for Finding Nemo but I overheard this soundtrack while waiting in the ride Queue at Disneyland while I was backpacking California last summer and I was in awe of the amazing ambience, it reminds me of the simplicity of childhood somehow. Turns out Thomas Newman is one of my favourite composers, been obsessed with his Lemony Snicket soundtrack my whole life - and here he is again making my life better with his otherwordly ambience that somehow oozes coziness in every string.

True Story: This movie was my favorite Pixar movie as a kid, but I was also terrified of it. I suffer from pretty severe Thalassophobia (fear of deep or open water, especially the ocean), and this movie was my first experience with that fear. Finding Nemo was basically a horror movie for me back then lol.

@@alfredomant Did you really read what this person said? They said that they have a fear of deep ocean water. 90% of this movie takes place in deep ocean water. Put 1 and 2 together Sherlock lol. It might be animated but animations depicting real things can still scare people, especially if they are depicting something someone has a phobia of. For example, it's like someone with arachnophobia being scared of an animated spider because even though it's animated it's still a depiction of a spider and someone can easily get scared. Plus Pixar films aren't even considered cartoons, they're animated movies. They can still scare people.
I completely understand what you're talking about because I felt the exact same thing. The "whale scene" was the most brutal scene in my opinion. However, the film is one of the best pixar movies in my opinion, and this soundtrack still gives me chills...
There is something about Disney music that makes you hold onto hope. 💖

I always feel the magic of what Disney once was here… I miss the enchanting stories of heroism in all its forms great and small light and darkness prince and princess. I miss the normal and the wholesome stories the one’s that made you feel related to them. More accurately… as if you we’re them or on the journey and adventure with them. To feel like you escaped to be a princess or a prince or a toy space ranger or feeling or a villain or a pirate or a car or even the king of the jungle named George?. Or more accurately for this especially… a fish. I guess all of us in our own way are still tryna find ourselves no matter what in life. Music like this reminds me of the joy and sadness of life. Hence why it is so magical and hence why we ultimately are trying to find that magic again in our lives. Now I get it that sometimes for people who don’t have children live better and greater lives but just to let you know that the magic you see in there eyes reminds you so much of what and how you first felt even though you were just a child growing up things become so much simpler again remembering it all. But even as we adults are we just remember to as dory says just to keep on swimming. And I find the best way is to put a little bit of faith in that one step because when you do everything else is so much better. Not easier but better and greater.
Keep moving forward. Keep on swimming.
I have been struggling with a lot of personal issues and some are mental health issues, sleep problems and other things. However, growing up this made me know my mom (who passed away several years ago). Was around because this the movie we watched on many nights during the summer, on snow days from school. Thid has been helping me cope alot

I agree with you. There's nothing that matches this quality today. The music, the characters that humanized animals/insects/fish, the voices, the pacing, the animation all complimented a story that was truly relatable not just to Americans, but people all over the world.
Pixar's movies of today is generic, stale and soulless, but they make lots of money from those who love this type of quantity.
What about Inside Out? That’s a quality movie…
@@chey6073 nostalgia is too strong. i'd say pixar is the one company that keeps putting out good movies until now, with one or two bad ones in between(lightyear lol) the op seems to forget Cars and Planes exists back then(dont get me wrong I like the first Cars movie, but its not wall-e). Now DISNEY on the other hand, often releases mediocre movies these days, Encanto being actually good is the exception but not the rule for disney unfortunately.

I remember when I watched this amazing movie for the first time at the cinema with my sister and grandmother when it came out in 2003, I was only 5 years old at that time and my sister was 8.
Last year my grandmother passed away and thinking about that memory completely breaks me.

Don't know what to do anymore. I feel an enormous pressure controlling me, instead of living this is surviving. Existence should be a hope for a better day, not this paranoia and built up nervous energy no matter I continue repeating the same cycle day by day expecting something different but In reality I've lost the "me" a long time ago.. There's moments when it's as if my soul has already lifted.

Popped up on my recommendations a few weeks before the 20th anniversary of its theatrical release. The universe is something else.
Saw this in theatres with my family back in 2003. Everybody in the place loved every second of it. There was tons of laughter from the adults and kids throughout and a huge applause when the credits rolled. What a time to be alive it was!
