For hiking i used a Berkey bottle, but then switched to a mini sawyer, and it only worked once...Everything was done for storage, back flush and drying, mini sawyer is crap.

I really like the platypus filter. I like that it closes up. The flow is not super fast but it works for me. I recommend it to everyone.
