The sound effect from Jericho's sawed off shotguns is also used for the Colt Python in the original Resident Evil as well as for the Desert Eagle for its sequel.
I remember memorizing this sequence to try and get ahead of the chopper wreck before it "crashed".. those very last turns are there to slow down the player
I perfected the beginning of the mission so I was able to outrun the heli and fail the mission at the section seen at around 2:35. I could not believe my eyes... 😄 However the chopper gets so fast at the lake section and at the last turns (as you said) so it is impossible to get there first. (Not to mention the constantly ramming cars which always take you away a few seconds if not more...)
Back when I came to this mission for the first time, the traffic always got in the way for me too. And I agree with your other statement also, this was a long journey for Tanner and Tobias haha.
all i have to say about this mission is? I HATE IT SO Much its so bloody Hard it took me a long time to finish this damn level and the game screws me over right at the end were it tells me you lost sight of the chopper at the end GRRRRRRRRRRR I hated that
@ezescousin14213 He was asked what more there was besides Lenny between the Caine and Vasquez. As Tanner and Jones had already realised there was some other connection but didnt know what. The shot of Caine and Vasquez shaking hands at the end reveals that they both have the same tattoo. The same tattoo the dead guy in the morgue at the start had which identified him as one of the gang. This means that either Caine and Vasquez used to be partners, or Caine used to work for him,
They were partners. It's likely Lenny got Caine to split off from Vasquez to build his own syndicate. Whichever side had Lenny clearly had the upper hand, hence why Vasquez was growing in power when Lenny hopped sides. So once Lenny was taken off the streets, Caine and Vasquez leveled out to even playing field as they originally were (ie, back to where they were before).
Caine and Vasquez were both separate gang leaders (Caine runs Chicago's gangs and Vasquez is the Brazilian gang boss). Basically, Vasquez wanted to expand his operation north to Chicago. Caine, of course, isn't happy about Vasquez and the Brazilians wanting to take over their Chicago turf. In a nutshell, that's basically where their hatred for each other stemmed from.
What the hell? I don't know what you were expecting. Tanner is actually a cop at the end of the day. His priority is to bring Lenny in. That moment was his best chance at finally ending it. What did you expect him to do?
So I've been stuck on DRIVER & DRIVER 2 last missions for 20 years etc. Literally just completed both in the past 2 days i feel so accomplished 😂. I also agree DRIVER 1 last mission is 3683646% harder & more frustrating
@@hiimpubg360Legitimately harder or full of BS harder? If you're talking former, then The Pres Run is harder (it's basically Survival mode with rain, day-to-night time change and a long trek from A to B). If you're talking latter, Chase The Gunman is the most glaring case of that.

If you play the mission with medium or easy copy difficulty, it's actually pretty easy to keep the pursuing cars at bay by tricking their AI; it's overall easier than chase the gun man. On hard, though, it's more than 90% luck. That's the PS1 version, btw. For some reason, the mission is pretty nerfed in difficulty in the PC version.
The chopper was at the EXTREME tip of my radar. If he would have gone straight, it without a doubt would have been a failed mission for me. I think it was because of him turning that gave me time to catch up to him. But yea, this mission took me a while to beat back when I first was playing this game.
I know, tell me about it right???!!!! I was livid when I uploaded this and found out that the audio was muted. This was the first video I uploaded that caught my attention to having copyrighted material. But believe me, I too was like geez, its just a walkthrough TH-cam, no need to throw copyright matters in my face.
Recently made some replays and edited the camera angles and saved them on VHS and with teh replay with this mission I once had stuff to happen. Completed this, saved a replay. Watched it later, from that Mission Completed menu, saved the game. Result: after load the 2nd cutscene plays, then the end credits with the sounds from 3rd-6th cutscenes. If one watches a replay and chooses Restart from the Mission Completed menu, one can play a mission using another disc, i.e. Disc 2 mission on Disc 1.

Nah, that one's way worse. At least here you can purposefully keep them on your tail for most of that straight stretch, which is, at least for me, the most troublesome part of this mission thanks to RNGesus's fuckery with ahead-oncoming pursuer spawns (having just one guy on my tail is good enough for me, no need for both of them being alive). That gunman mission, though, is pure randomized hell.

It was probably some person that recognized Tanner and decided to engage in pursuit. Maybe they were signifying that a sequel was to be released (and that the story would continue)? To be honest, I never really quite got who that was, but it probably could be interpreted multiple ways.
1000Vlogs, you pretty much hit the nail on the head regarding the President's Run mission. The limo's handling combined with the snowy weather makes it an incredibly hard mission, even if the limo is strengthened. Plus you have the FBI on you (and they are MUCH harder and crazier than the regular police). Even still, I get headaches when I know that mission is coming in New York haha. At least with this mission the chopper gives you chances to catch up to it if you fall behind.

If you are talking about this video, this is the PSX version played on a PSX emulator on the computer. There is no actual PC version to this game. There's only the PSX version and the GBA version also.
The end of this mission is so fucking sadistic. You make it all the way to the end only to have the chopper pull away from you at the last goddamn second or the dickhead gangsters spawn right in front of you. I hate this game with every fiber of my being. EDIT: I did it. I am finally free. Farewell and good riddance to this atrocity of a game.

I'm guessing that he meant that it took him a while (meaning the whole game) to figure out what was going on between Caine, Vasquez, and Lenny. Caine and Vasquez at one point (mentioned in Chicago Mission 4) say they're going to team up to take down Lenny. At the end of the game though, they are back to hating each other again. I think the whole time, both Caine and Vasquez hated Lenny, and it took Tanner the whole game to figure that out. At least that's what I got out of it.

In order to cheat in Driver 2, you either have to beat the game normally or use a Gameshark with the game. There are no official button combinations to press on the title screen or what not. It's simply a matter of beating the game and using the cheats that the game gives you from there.

The only thing that changed since I last clicked it was this iReel box comes up before the movie plays. You click on the red play button and it will take you to this website (just close it). After that, then the video opens for me. What site are you getting your flash download from? I went to Adobe's website and there's a link for flash and shockwave.
Yeah I know Jones is alive in Driv3r, I have a whole walkthrough on my page showing that I beat the PC version of the game... I guess the day I wrote that comment I was questioning whether Driv3r took place before or after Driver 2.
The only cheats I remember are the ones that you obtain when you complete story mode (the Invincibility, Immunity, etc.). There are also the Gameshark codes for the game. Other than those, I don't know of any other cheats for this game.

I am sure that that is Vasquez on the left, don't know who that is on the right... you actually might be right, it does look like Caine. And to answer to your second question. I know Vasquez and Caine do have a long history together. I think Caine is Vasquez's money man and his throw around to do his dirty work. I also think he uses Caine to control his money ring in Chicago and Vegas.

That would have to be a really complex mod since theres no helicopter flying code to hack into.

Hey LOSSCANNON2, I am pretty sure the storyline of Driver 2 is set in the 1970's. I know that it is not set in the 80's. Definitely not the 60's lol.
Driver case says in the back it is 70s and Driver 2 looks like older. So, I am assuming Driver 2 80-90s.
