It only matters relative to your opponent though. If neither team has had a midweek game then having the early kick off is the same for both teams. Pep complained when out of the 4 teams in the semi finals, Man City we’re the only one who played midweek and they had the earlier kick off

Klopp is 100% correct. All the English teams looked so tired in Europe at this stage, that led to them all being eliminated. They didn’t have the energy levels to compete. It is combination of the added time rule coming to the Premier League, meaning games are last between 10 to 15 minutes longer per game, the intensity of the Premier League that used meaning players run harder and longer in the Premier League than other leagues in Europe and the fact every game is a battle meaning more energy is used per game compared to the Bundesliga and La Liga where at least 50% of teams are low quality meaning big teams can play at 30% and still win. It will be very difficult for English teams to play at less than 100% and win so they have no games when they can coast and conserve energy for Europe.
Here's another example. During the CL quarterfinals, Arsenal and Bayern played their first match on a Tuesday. Bayern then played Saturday, while Arsenal had to play Sunday vs Villa. Bayern got a full extra days' rest before the second leg on Wednesday. Was that the reason Arsenal lost? Probably not, but that is the Premier League putting one of their own teams at a competitive disadvantage. There's no reason Arsenal shouldn't have played Saturday as well. You see examples of this every season. La Liga, Serie A, and the Bundesliga look out for their clubs while the Premier League want to run them into the ground for more TV money

A salary cap will make it impossible for English clubs to sign top players again. American owners killing the Premier League to make themselves rich
You’re 100% correct. English teams are at on disadvantage. For instance I look at PSG schedule today and PSG last game in the league was the 27, the play Dortmoud 2 times before they play a league game while EPL team are playing 4 5 games in that period. How is that not an disadvantage

When mourinho was in charge of united he ditched his style of play due to injuries too. The goal was to try to win and not just play beautiful football.

I am an Arsenal fan, though...
I heard the reason Liverpool get some many matches at 12:30 is because they with Man Utd are the most popular Europe teams in Asia and the Premier League want them to play in Asian primetime slot to get the most Asian viewers, but what makes excuse suspicious is how few times Man Utd play in this time-slot. By the way Liverpool losing the league due to referee huge errors that has cost Liverpool 3 points against Arsenal and Tottenham, with these points Liverpool would be 4 points clear at the top.
If every Liverpool striker scored a mere two more goals (in the strategically necessary games of course) we'd still be in the FA cup and top of the league comfortably. even with the PGMOL errors
Don't forget the 3 points points against Man City in that - the blatant penalty not given, last kick of the match. ( before anyone says something benal like "who says you would have scord the penalty" - 90% of pens have been scored in the Prem this season. That's two points lost and a point Man City should never have had. A definite 3 and highly likely 7 points robbed and an extra point to City and Arsenal.
Those 2 clubs are also the biggest in the USA, and that time slot is between 3:30 and 6:30 in the morning kickoff on a Saturday morning, a nightmare timeslot

As a Malaysian, I find the early kick-off quite inconvenient. It typically happens around 7.30pm here, just when I’ve returned from our regular Saturday family outing. There are times when we’re still out and about, and I resort to watching the game on my phone. My wife don't like it, so most of the time, I end up catching the highlights later on.

The 12:30 kick offs are inconvenient for any team and the problem isn't even that Liverpool has the most the thing nobody seems to see is that most of their 12:30 games were away games or games directly after the international break while the other top teams play home games against relegation sides if the have to play at this time.

How many players came in this year to Spurs? I think a few more (4-5) will make the group his choices, and with that he will have to assume full responsibility. Give Ange another season, and I think he will improve the team and it's position again.
This Ale guy doesn't have a basic understanding, I don't know why he is still working for ESPN he has never played on a top level, so remove him from the panel.
It's not even about the 12:30pm kick-off. They are running these players to the ground. The fixtures keep increasing with less time to recover. The quality of the games would reduce. And Klopp is right, TV rights need footballers to play and footballers and clubs also need the money. There has to be a middle ground.

Angevhas worked woth qhat he has though. He has spent 9 months working with what he has and feels that the team needs to be upgraded in order to progress further but now all of a sudden when he says he wants to improve the squad he is sounding like Antonio Conte? So is no manager that managers Spurs allowed to want better players now is that how this goes? How long do you expect him to "work with what he has" before you start realising that some of those players aren't good enough for what Ange is trying to do and therefore the squad needs upgrading.

What is so hard about a 12:30 kickoff?
It's the earliest time slot, closest to any midweek games, and like they were saying all of their preparation as a team has to be moved up and time crunched. The normal game times are late afternoons and night games, so you move everything up 4 or 6 or 8 hours and everything seems a bit off.
Man utd results this season:
4-3, against wolves
4-3 against liverpool
4-3 loss against chelsea
3-2 win against villa
4-3 loss against bayern munich
4-3 loss against copenhagen
3-3 against galatasaray
3-3 against coventry
4-2 against newport.
Whatever you think of utd and the manager, they are more entertaining than any team in the country!!!

It is easy to criticize but hard to do. Ange is no Conte. He doesn’t want high profile signings he just wants players who believe in his systems. It is not a big ask. His reputation is to clear out a team and start again. He doesn’t care if he has to get rid of experienced players. He is not Mr Pragmatist and he won’t change his game plan to suit the players. Why do people give Pep's example that he has free right to pick whatever player he wants from market? The guy has no left back for 4 years and won the league without a centre forward. The issue with English football is that they have always been a little bit behind. So when a foreigner comes in and challenges their norms, it's viewed with suspension. Like how they schedule games.
Teams played with 4-2-3-1 whilst England still persisted with 4-4-2. Instead of building a midfield around Carrick, they persisted with Gerrard and Lampard out of position. The obsession for a long time with big physical fast players over smaller more skillfull ones. Suspicions about keepers who pass the ball, not having a mid-season break etc
Even premier league highlights on TH-cam. They only started showing them in 2019, well after most leagues. So they will say it's all ok. Until it isn't or it starts costing them money. Premier league not having a 5th spot in the UCL will annoy them. So expect changes in scheduling to happen but it will take time.
