Honda 305 Motorcycle Engine Rebuild: Left Side Assembly on the CB77 Super Hawk

Let’s assemble the left side of the Honda 305 CB77 Super Hawk motor. There are definitely some nuances in rebuilding this engine.

This was my first 305. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to cover everything. But I do have another one. I’ll try to fill in the gaps. I know this doesn’t help you much now though.

Was this a dry assemble or final assemble? Just wondering if a dab of assembly lube would have been advisable on the shift arm pivot

I put it together this day. Plenty of lube was used. Hear ya tho. A dab can never hurt.
