I just picked up a similar lift today to convert to a welding table! Thinking of cutting out a square of concrete in my shop & installing the lift table flush with the floor. That way, when not in use, I can walk over it.
You will love it! I only have the welding table as a workbench in my shop, so I use it every day. Putting it in the ground is a big commitment on location. Good luck to you!
Just google and looking to see if any one has a lifting table welding setup. Found an 6 year old fire ball tools video of how huge one and your video. I have a old beat up lifting table I'm rebuilding and was thinking about cutting off the old beat up top and putting on a better top for welding. I work on old garden tractors and they from 450 to 900 lbs. So need the table to lift them. would love to place the finished table in the ground so it is flush with the floor, and so I can still get a car over the table. Like all my projects it will take some time and might never get finished lol .

Great repurpose of a motorcycle stand. I have fixed a few of those "throw away" office chairs. You can buy new cylinders for them when they start leaking and slowly sinking on you.
