    Great video, thanks! With the Eufy camera (2C?) - In Homekit Does the red LED and the white floodlights work? If Not can you run them in both the Eufy App and HomeKit so it works? Thanks again. Love the channel.

    Hi interesting tech, what's the distance from the base to the camera for perfect wireless interaction between camera and base?

    Thanks for this video. I'm not a very tech savvy person, and I just ordered these for out house. Can you tell me if you think 4 or more cameras will noticeably slow down internet. The home base will be maybe 25-30 ft from cameras.

    • @DIYReid
      @DIYReid  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It won’t slow internet down. It will work off local network the most and that will be fast. 4 cameras will be fine.

    Hi,
    Good interesting video review, thanks.
    I'm looking for simple, wireless cctv for my motorhome security.
    This looks truly wireless.
    With the camera brackets supplied, do you think the cameras would be able to mounted at 90 degrees, on the side of a motorhome (high up) and to give a view along the motorhome side..?
    Thanks, Steve

      It should work pretty well. You can also just make your own mount as it uses 1/4 20 thread. Also you’ll need an internet service for it to communicate to your phone

      During setup it has to be on Ethernet but after it can be connected to wifi.

      Yes. Cameras connect to base via wireless signal.

    Just so you know, these have a pretty severe security flaw which has been reported to Eufy but they refuse to fix. If anyone presses the sync button on the camera for 5 seconds it will delete all your recordings without any kind of prompt or confirmation. So a thief could enter your property, steal everything in it, even the cameras, and just by pressing a button there won't be any recording left for the police to check, defeating the whole purpose of having cameras in the first place.

      Got it. If a robber takes your security camera you won’t have footage. Check.
