And also the capital of the French side, Marigot.

Are there currently Carnival Cruise ships docked at St. Maarten? Are they in storage?
Der Kong at the time this video was shot there were several ships in port (no idea which lines) but there are no tourists on board. Cruise tourism has not started back yet and my guess is that it won’t for a while.
Has tourism picked up at all? Are lots of places closed? Will be visiting in May! 😄
Yes, it has. We have been open since June last year and more and more people are visiting. We even have a cruise ship departing from our port this summer. Everything is open. Check the video I made with the tourist office back in January for some details.
