Love that you are addressing all the questions! I'm sure you get a lot of the same ones. Structuring it with the chapter marks is a great idea!

Loving our stay here in Sint Maarten (Phillipsburg). Ran into a problem while trying to get out to Fort Amsterdam. There is a gate I guess for Divi Bay and they wouldn’t let us through. The rest of the island has been very accommodating, and Cynthia’s in Grand Case was wonderful.

We are thinking of visiting at the end of the month is it better to stay 3 days in st Martin and then do 2 in Anguilla or is it better to just take the day trips over there and stay in st Martin. I notice there are better places to stay there?

What about mosquitoes? Grand Cayman is swarming with them. What’s the mosquito population in Saint Martin?

If you had 2 weeks to spend on St. Maarten and Anguilla, how many days would you spend on each? Since we will be traveling with a baby, we are not looking for nightlife and a lot of excitement, just a relaxing vacation.

Do somewhere quiet and relaxing in St. Maarten for a week and Anguilla the 2nd week. Book a video call for a more customized advice. Happy travels

@@TheTravelingIslandGirl thank you. Also, which side of the island is it better to stay at for a more quiet, relaxing atmosphere - the dutch or the french side?

Hello and good morning, you have a nice and informative channel! We are two friends from Germany and are looking for a nice and quiet place for our two-week vacation. Is there a place/place to stay overnight and a beach without stray dogs?
We urgently need rest and a good night's sleep and don't need a nightlife. We would prefer a place to sleep without WiFi, as this is very harmful to health and robs us of even more sleep (this is terrible in Germany) and also damages nature.
We love the Caribbean flair (we have only been to East Mexico once) and eat vegan. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of money, as we have to pay the highest taxes in the world. And we had to save for five years for a cheap vacation. Very bad times have begun in Germany, 40-60 years ago our country was better off because many more people believed in God. The further people move away from God, the more judgments (also in the form of extreme weather and much more) God sends them. We should turn back to God, whose name is Jesus Christ, and repent of our sins. Only then can he be merciful to us again. If we turn to other gods or idols or even worship them (these can also be material and occult things or people or hobbies), we have lost. Eternal life is only in Jesus Christ; he is the way and the truth and the life (has nothing to do with religions or churches, just with the only truth).
Now I have written a lot, but it is valuable to know.
With this in mind, I wish you a nice and blessed day, dear Riselle. And we hope to get to know you one day.

Great video! My question is about how to enjoy the beaches if you are not staying on it. Do you have to rent the chairs at the beach bars if you are eating/drinking there? Thanks

All beaches are public on the island. Most beach restaurants will not charge for lounge chair and umbrellas if you are a patron. Some beaches have beach chairs for rent.
