one thing I like from oasis is it's like each era you've slightly different versions of each song... there's this supersonic, then the cigarettes and alcohol + whole lotta love, the extended champagne supernova, countless acoustic versions, not to mention special versions like earl's court 95 (I think) when noel goes "that's me on the tele"... brilliant stuff
1998 was 24 years ago, though ! But any audio from any time will sound great when recorded with the proper material, we have great audio on a lot of 70's and 80's live material, and that was around 50 and 40 years ago. Same could even be said about video, look at the "D'You Know What I Mean" 2016 re-release video.
@@rollingcarpet3077 I know what you mean and good point. I guess my thought was how difficult it would have been able to carry around the equipment needed to get this kind of quality at this time and I assume it also had to be snuck in.
@@Tiger1016. I read somewhere on the internet how some people used to snuggle their gear to record bootlegs in the 80's and 90's, some were crazy, like that guy pretending to be in a massive automotive wheelchair in which he hid all his recording gear. Life finds a way, I guess, lol
@tylersims6937 haha yeah I can't figure out the temporary moment of insanity where I knew how long ago it was but when I wrote it I just glossed over the the correct (and most important) detail. Could go back and edit it but it's kind of fun to just leave the blunder as is.
live forever changed mine, didnt care much for dont look back in anger or wonderwall, but then i listened to the rest and ii was blessed... the reason i started to play guitar
Bro seriously, heard this song my first time going through alcohol withdrawal. I was listening to the stone roses (one of my fav songs from the green street hooligans soundtrack) , and TH-cam played me oasis (the real oasis, 1st album). Hearing supersonic and morning glory just jettisoned me to a new world. God bless the Gallaghers, bloody degenerates
@@valle4483 yeah? But 1. thats not necessarily a good thing and 2. sure if he is supposed to get the relative majority of the attention, whatever, but for the other 3 to never once be shown (if I recall correctly) is still stupid.
Noel on cocaine was an amazing guitarist
Actually he was becoming a hell of a guitarist in 1998m but not bcs of cocaine

Everybody does that. All bands do that. They change the performances of the same material tour after tour... much to the frustration of the fans.
The audio quality on this for being 10 years ago is very impressive. Also, love the intro on this for sure.

Oasis were tight, Noel & Bonehead were underrated guitar players
I was two rows back and have a copy on vhs. Yes im old and learned how to work the internet from the beginning. My favorite live show!
Who could know that one song would change my whole life
Ömer Uranbey how did it change ur life? (Just interested)

I had a nervous breakdown , Oasis treated me
Yeah it changed my life - one day I was a binman, then the next day I was a psychedelic binman.

This lot need to get it back together. As soon as.
I’ve got some good news…
Andy?
Andy mate
The B sides made this single one off their best.
He sounds like he said “because my parents said to take you home”
proper
This is the definitive version played on U.S. soil! The Earl's Court '95 version is the definitive version played on U.K. soil! Period!💯🇺🇸🇬🇧

Didn't know Alan White had problems with keeping time. Happens to the best of us, I suppose.
It’s no surprise that white rhymes with shite
20 years . esta hecho mierda
Its done much more than you my fellow friend 😍
Know your history,Liam bought sum, coke, but was crystal meth,so any way,up the tubular bells, but it's oasis anything goes, lucky Boro FC
wrong gig
LA Sept 1994
Also I will say, its just sad this attitude of only filming singer and maybe another person. The band doesnt consist of 2 people.
Whitey is shown often enough 😝
Frontman usually takes the attention?

Alan White is a bad drummer
Cheers.
