    My money tree grew well for the first year or so and then it started to decline. When I repotted it, I suspected that the thick rubber band around the base of it was strangling it. I removed it with scissors and the plant is making a fantastic comeback.

    I have mine next to my bed next to a window. She gets afternoon sun, but not direct. I noticed she’s happiest when more damp, but was second-guessing myself, so thanks for your research and confirmation. Love this plant and love your channel!

    💎 This plant is suppose too attract $ 😂 I placed small white rocks all over the soil and then placed on top a few beautiful good luck crystals. I love mine! Had a few wilting brown leaves, didn't see bugs but I still used my garden safe soapy mixture all over it 🤞🤞🤞Will see. 🤞🤞🤞

    I love my money plant as well. It is one of the easiest plants to care for. Mine is in the east window in indirect sunlight and gets watered every 2 weeks year round. Low maintenance, no pests or nothing. Mine is now almost 6 ft. tall and 4 years old........love it!

    Thanks for the video. My poor little money plant always struggles inside. I put it outside in a shady area for the summer and it perks up. It really likes humidity.

    Hello! Your plant is so beautiful....the leaves are what attracted me like you said the unbrella effect....About 2 months ago I got my first money tree....I had no idea they flowered or produced fruit...i am however thinking about unbraiding them do you think this is wise? Thank you so much for sharing.. have an amazing week💚💚💚💚

      @plantheartbeats  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! There is nothing wrong with unbraiding it, I think it’s just a matter of what you prefer…enjoy!💚

    I am just curious, because I have never done it that way. What is the reason you removed all the old soil? I have done without removing the soil so as to not disturb the roots as much as possible. I could be completely wrong, but I learnt to do it that way from my dad years ago.

    • @jackiewhitney5031
      @jackiewhitney5031 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I as well. I've noticed lately all the plantubers are doing this procedure but don't know why. I was also told to never disturb the roots because it can stress a plant out. All my "old" houseplant books say to not disturb the roots.......confused??

    • @plantheartbeats
      @plantheartbeats  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. I changed it to give it fresh soil with fresh nutrients. It’s is recommended to be careful when changing the soils not to break many roots to give the plant less shock. It’s been a week since I repotted it and the plant has not lost any leaves…that means it didn’t bother it. Sometimes we also change the soil when the plant will be indoors to give it a more airy of a soil mixture . I have found that some soils indoor plants come with from the nurseries can retain a lot of water and stay wet for too long. That can cause root rot. It’s fine at the nurseries where they are grown because it’s a lot warmer there with higher light. I will have to be more detailed and explained better in a future video. 💚

    Hi I love your plant videos! I was wondering if you could do a video on affordable plant grow lights that actually work? I really don’t want to invest $200 in a grow light…. Hoping for expert ideas!

    I have two, one is braided and one is not. I would defiantly recommend cutting to the band, it's not meant to stay. after I cut them off, my plants grew so big in a year, after having the unbraided one for 2 years, and the braided one for over a year.

    My hubby order me 5 of the money trees on etsy for a good deal. I just receive my 5 money trees on may 6, 2023. I am using clay pebbles for my 5 money tree plants. All 5 of my money trees are growing a bunch of new leaves on the plants right now. My 5 money plants are 18 to 24 inches tall right now, and getting taller. I love my 5 money trees. These 5 are my wedding Anniversary plants.! My name is Amy.

    • @plantheartbeats

    I’ve been seeing videos that have been putting coke cola ,coffee grounds ,different things in the watering technique of it what would you suggest for the money plant as a perk up?

    • @plantheartbeats
      @plantheartbeats  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have only tried coffee grounds in outdoor plants but need to try in my house plants.
