The actual old goal horn was used thru the 94 season. That one sounds like someone is just beeping a car horn. Very weak sounding lol. Joe Louis Arena has had the same goal horn since the 1995 season.
The Joe Louis Arena goal horn.NICE!!!! Back when Detroit was a legit contender. I don’t blame for Zetterberg retiring after the 15-16 season, he didn’t need to go through the headache of this deep rebuild this franchise is currently doing after winning multiple Stanley Cups with them. It was a perfect time for him to walk away, especially after when Datsyuk decided to return to 🇷🇺 1 year later too
Red wings will get it up..... One-on-one, McCarty.... Coming in there, on Niinimaa.... He beat ‘em..... SCORES!!! .........BEAUTIFUL GOAL!!!!........... TWO-NOTHING, DETROIT!! (Bob Cole on CBC..... one of the best calls ever!!!)
the Wings have used the same goal horn since the early '90s, when the new scoreboard went in. Joe Louis Arena didn't have a goal horn until the mid-1980s, and when they added one in 1984 or 1985 this is what it sounded like: th-cam.com/video/7pDxWBx3B_Y/w-d-xo.html
They'd better. The current horn sounds like it's coming from the other end of a phone line, and piped over a loudspeaker. It sounds even worse than the Carolina Hurricanes' horn.
"Blue line chance, SCORE! STEVE YZERMAN! DETROIT WINS!"
ThatGuy1001000 don’t forget “Gretzky had it, lost it”
Darren McCarty in Darren McCarty-SCORES!!!
@@smoriothetwo4255A MAGNIFICENT GOAL!!! DARREN MCCARTY!!!
"Gretzky had it, lossed it. Yzerman Picks it up, Yzerman Moving, Blue Line chance, SCORE (0:00) STEVE YZERMAN!! DETROIT WINS"
This sounds better than their horn now
@@CJbrinkman602 no one is a recording of the horn the other is an actual horn
Absolutely agree

Favorite NHL goal horn
fitness gram pacer test is what I do at school
The Red Wings are the perfect embodiment of Detroit, a once great and flourishing city that's now a pile of ruins.
There aren't bad now, they have a good young core of players.
STEVE YZERMAN! DETROIT WINS!
Let’s go my favorite team
The Yzerman days
Chris Joseph And they continue. As a GM
And he's back

They’ve used the one in this video since late 1994.

+Mike Councill I'm just saying cuz I'm a Blues Fan :(. We got ran over by those darn sharks.
If u really think about Sharks when hearing this song, you have been hockey fan since 2010.
Yzerman! He Scooooresss Red Wings win
for me it dates back to the 1998 Stanley Cup Final if only Esa Tikkanen didn't go wide on that Empty Net
Basically the sharks goal horn now
Goal horn?
The song is, but definitely not the horn itself
I wonder if the Wings will have a new horn installed at Little Caesar's Arena
They'd better. The current horn sounds like it's coming from the other end of a phone line, and piped over a loudspeaker. It sounds even worse than the Carolina Hurricanes' horn.
Sadly that didn’t happen
I wish... the LCA horn is maybe the worst in the league. I miss the JLA horn more than some people.
Any info on the Phillies bell I gave you? I know it's not a horn. :)
The song didn't sound anything like celebration and I couldn't identify it
Do you want me to send you another one?
Jacob Kosmin If you can correctly identify the song
Alright
STEVE YZERMAN

I remember the Lidstrom days
