Making thumbnails is so fun! Absolutely. I often will spring for anything from NIS, Xseed, etc. I know it's giving in to fomo, but it pays off sometimes. Thanks for watching! ❤️
This was really well done dude. Code of Princess is such a fun game. Still have my 3DS copy, I need to snag a Switch copy. That Layton one I completely forgot about. I have a feeling that Shantae game is gonna crash in price lol. It's pretty wild how the landscape of Switch collecting has changed. It's nice to see but it's also gonna be tough in a few years. 👍👀
I appreciate you tuning in! Yeah, the market speculation is crazy. The titles I own usually stay in the collection, so as much as I love watching and keeping track of the prices, I don't really wheel and deal anymore lol
These videos are sooo much better than when other content creators make videos titled, "buy these before rare and expensive" and then go on to make a video of random games. This has a theme and actual data to back it up.
Although, the CIB Code of Princess EX (Nicalis English version) is way more expensive than what is said in the video. The video says $49 but ebay and the market otherwise says 90+. It often goes for over $120.
The market changes pretty rapidly! I started in the last video including a slide with my assistant Anna looking at the data available the day I compiled it! Fun lil addition!
My top 7 (just because that is the number you chose) valuable Switch titles are: *Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse* valued at $309. *Ikaruga* valued at $143. *Samurai Shodown* currently valued at $138, and going up. *Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster Edition* , British release, going for $132. *Stranger Things 3 - The Game* priced at $125. *Fast RMX* Steel book edition, going for $98.38. *Jurassic Park Classic Games Collection* , CIB at $95. That’s the current value of games, as of 4/23/2024. Thanks for the video!
I'm glad I own Code of Princess Ex. I wanted to get Astral Chain, but didn't. I never knew Hyrule Warriors and Blasphemous had rarity or even a physical copy issue too.
To me one of the most valuable game series, also unique to the NS is the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Fantastic RPG, incredible story, and world, amazing characters, unique gameplay. Definitely incredible value!
Nice list! Kinda wish I'd jumped on Blasphemous back when it first came out... If we're excluding collector's editions, then surprisingly my copy of Grandia HD Collection is still the most valuable. Figured that would nosedive when the PlayStation version was announced, but here we are!
😮 interesting. Now adays I don't care for expensive stuff. That said, this list makes me want to get some games like valis. Also, the truest of men rock and play the hello kitty kart game.
Great video!! I have a survival horror that I think came out physically only in South Korea: Livestream, that one year ago costed 60$, now it costs over 100$
Valis looks so interesting, I love these Turbo Grfx collections I should probably check it out. Also wish I picked up Code of Princess EX but the 3DS version will have to do. Princess Solange is an absolute beaut! You don't want to know how much I paid for Pirate's Curse. :X
That Switch tax is for real for real! Always is fascinating to see games hold their value (or increase in value) years after they are released. Especially those games that are just standard releases. Crazy. I have a couple of these in my collection. There seems to be a whole lot more that are expensive 😂😂. Great vid!
Good stuff. I started my KT journey with Samurai Warriors years ago, so I always love revisiting that era whether in a Koei game or Bandai/Namco. All so good! ❤️ Thanks for watching!
It's a cool list, but I was hoping for some more "shocking" titles; maybe you could put together a list of the top 10 most expensive games or something? I've seen some games like Xenoblade 2: Torna go for like $200+ and when I saw astral chain in the opening I was hoping to find out that it was worth a pretty penny.
From my private collection, excluding collector's editions (quite happy I bought XB2CE at launch...), Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster still costs a pretty penny... And of course, we have Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Urgh.
I appreciate why you don't want to include Collector's editions, but for practical purposes it feels like those limited-print games like Valis should also be excluded. I'd rather just see everything included, personally.
I understand your viewpoint. But Limited Run has lost some of it's clout. I got that title for just about retail at my local retro store. The days of insane LRG titles releasing are bygone. This week's video covers the absolute highest non collectors editions! Should be out Monday! I do plan to do a collectors edition list as well! Thanks for watching!❤️
Judging by your lack of hair and gnarled malformed hands, I would advise that someone else's pronunciation should probably be the least of your worries, Powder. Put a lil sunlight in your life. Careful, though you might burn.
Here for thr thumbnail.
Stayed for the content.
Learned that every fan serviced physical game is worth buying early.

I paid $250 for Shantae and the Pirate's Curse like 2 or 3 years ago. It's insane how much it's worth now.
Awesome collection piece! Stay tuned for next week's extreme video, that will surely be featured! Thanks for watching! ❤️
I ❤ Shantae. It's my favourite metroidvania outside of the Metroid series itself.
@joshpetzoldt6344 All of the Shantae games are lovely! Great taste in games! 😀
@@joshpetzoldt6344 They're probably my favorite Metroidvanias ever, aside from Hollow Knight, which is my definite #1

Great list! Some of these will be featured on our Switch Extreme list coming up later this week! Thanks for tuning in! 😎
@@ColdNightsGaming hey, thanks! This was my first of your videos. Instant subscriber!
Thanks so much! ❤️
Awesome list! It’s crazy how some of the prices for these switch titles are so high!
Yeah, and this is just the ones I have. There are so many even crazier ones lol Thanks for watching! 😎
Whoa! I didn’t realize Layton’s Mystery Journey creeped up in price!
Yeah, I was surprised by how many went back up to or basically never left retail price. Thanks for watching! 😎
I'm glad I own Code of Princess Ex. I wanted to get Astral Chain, but didn't. I never knew Hyrule Warriors and Blasphemous had rarity or even a physical copy issue too.
I so have to revisit Astral Chain! Thanks so much for watching! 😎

Absolutely, huge value for the buck! And some of those CEs are pretty expensive! Great stuff! 💯 Thanks for watching!
I got all of them, save Torna the Golden Country physically. I did see a copy once in a game store and should have bought it then.
@richardklein1167 Awesome games, great collection! 😎
Another great list video jay🤘 i have a few of these but im not heavy into collecting/playing the switch!
Good times, thanks for watching! 😎
Nice list! Kinda wish I'd jumped on Blasphemous back when it first came out... If we're excluding collector's editions, then surprisingly my copy of Grandia HD Collection is still the most valuable. Figured that would nosedive when the PlayStation version was announced, but here we are!
The Grandia games were so lovely. Glad you were able to pick that up! Thanks for watching, Branden! ❤️
A great video!! Man I remember how much you played Hyrule Warriors!
Yeah, I adore the hell out of it! Thanks for watching! ❤️
😮 interesting. Now adays I don't care for expensive stuff. That said, this list makes me want to get some games like valis. Also, the truest of men rock and play the hello kitty kart game.
Absolute truth with Hello Kitty! 🐈 Thanks for tuning in! ❤️
Great video!!
I have a survival horror that I think came out physically only in South Korea: Livestream, that one year ago costed 60$, now it costs over 100$
That is awesome! I was just reading about that game! Thanks so much for watching! 😎

Valis is fun and challenging! I can only imagine what you paid lol Thanks for watching, Cesar! ❤️
Happy to say I own all of these physically for the Switch!
Hell yeah, sweet collection! Thanks for tuning in! 😎

I have a couple of these in my collection. There seems to be a whole lot more that are expensive 😂😂.

Yeah, it gets a lil crazy! At least there is plenty of material for more lists lol Thanks for watching! 😀
The switch can tax this!! 👊
Nice to see your take on rare and expensive Switch games! There's some games on here I'd like to try such as Code Princess and Valis.
Nice, definitely both worth it! Thanks for watching! 😎
are these all physical or are they on the eshop too
Fairly sure any of these would be available on the eShop. Thanks for watching!

A Warriors game that is also set in Edo Japan like Fate/Samurai Remnant? 👀
Good stuff. I started my KT journey with Samurai Warriors years ago, so I always love revisiting that era whether in a Koei game or Bandai/Namco. All so good! ❤️ Thanks for watching!

For sure more Switch collector's lists incoming! Thanks for watching!
Torna is now going for list or a bit less, so its definitely not as expensive as it once was.
I still remember being super excited to find it in the wild at GameStop a while back! Great memories! ❤️
I got Torna during Christmas 2023 from VGP, so not long ago, finally been able to add it to my collection
@@XENOS_Indie_Game_Dev Nice! I got lucky and got it at GameStop during a random visit! 😀
From my private collection, excluding collector's editions (quite happy I bought XB2CE at launch...), Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster still costs a pretty penny... And of course, we have Super Mario 3D All-Stars. Urgh.
The Pixel remasters are beautiful and it still amazes me the values across all the consoles! Thanks for watching! ❤️
Enjoyed the video, I’d love to get a copy of Blasphemous, I’m hoping for a VGC reprint but it looks like I need to pay eBay a visit, sadly
Yeah, definitely a tough and costly one to get! Thanks for watching! 😎
Good video! I wish I would have bought blasphemous at retail…
I got pretty lucky and got it at GS for a fair price before it went crazy! Thanks for watching! 😎
Why is skylanders imaginators for Nintendo switch not on here?
More lists coming, these were a few high priced selections, but not the highest! Thanks for watching!

Times like that are badges of honor! 😅 Thanks for watching! 😎
Libarys.

500 hours in Hyrule warriors nice :D
It's honestly probably more lol Thanks for watching! 😎
You forgot Clannad it's $200+
Great game! We have a more extreme price video coming next week! Thanks for tuning in! ❤️

And this is why emulation is a good thing.
Agreed! It's cool to have some of these physically, but emulation is certainly a fiscally prudent option! Thanks for watching! 😎
