I would argue these maps are more beginner friendly than the maps we see most often in tm2020. They are harder to complete of course, but they make it easier to understand how the car handles, and faster solutions are a lot less vague than take that turn wider for higher gear or you need to speed slide in these 3 turns

yeah i have huge nostalgia for maps like this. This is what i started playing on as a kid. Trying to get back into tm2020 and the maps feel harder for some reason. But that could also be all the new surfaces and cars too.
Honestly, I'm convinced! We really should bring Acrobatics maps back to TM, they would bring some much needed variety to the campaigns!

For anyone wondering why Wirtual isn't streaming: He's attending a charity event in the US with Ludwig. So he didn't take a break from deep dip 2 because he wanted to take a break.
Edit: Apparently, Wirtual is doing the event remotely, and also rumours he's been feeling a bit sick. So I'm sure he'll be back soon.

I like watching Wirtual play TM for the problem solving and performance. Watching and analyzing WRs after to show different lines and different solutions is good, I like it.

So hard to become part of the community, can spend money on Wirtual in youtube in hopes of message/question being seen, or can go on twitch where not allowed to say anything for 1 week.
Regardless Wirtual seems happy to take money from youtube viewers, same as twitch viewers, but ignore his paying viewers from youtube.
At the end of the day, he just playing a video game, nothing wrong with that. But taking money from people and ignoring them, that is kinda sad.

TBH, Enabling this game for console gamers ruined this game for me. back in the day I KNEW everyone was on the EXACT same input methods and there was no advantages. It was a pure skill game. It has now turned into a Console rubbish game that gives Console players every advantage possible. I will not be returning to the modern version, and instead stick to TM nations 2
The live server situation is why I've stopped playing this TM. It's boring being on my own all the time.
And also I've only ever really liked Canyon's handling but the servers being mostly dead didn't help.
I love when Wirtual talks about the differences with the new TrackMania and Nations Forever. I played Nations Forever way, way too much and tried the new one about a year ago and it just didnt vibe with me.
And I think it was the lack of servers just rotating through maps. I'm not good enough to get even in the top 100 in Australia on any map but in those servers with randoms? I had a chance

13:10 is a really nice flip, I independently came up with something similar a while back, though mine was slower and a shorter jump
The only reason I haven't touched the latest TM is the monetization, if there was a one time purchase for offline + private servers I would've definitely bought it.
Within 15 hours playtime I achieved 1st in my region and 3rd in my country on a snow car discovery map. That was a way better feeling than I imagined.

I just love when Wirt randomly gets invested hunting a random map. It really shows that he plays the game for the game and not because he has to as a Trackmania Streamer. I can sense the passion and thats what Im here for.
