Thanks again @LineSpeedJediTimRawlins, I am starting to notice 'the soak' as well. The direction change isn't a mystery for me, but inconsistent. I find I can get the timing of said soak perfectly with my trout spey setup, especially after tired shoulders from casting the bigger rods & lines.
