    Can tight valves cause low compression?
    Tight valves open up sooner, open up wider, and stay open longer, which too tight can lower compression and burn exhaust valves; compression loss due to valve not seating quick enough on the compression stroke.

    Master Pong..ganyan karamihan ng mekaniko d2 sa amin. Sa cam lobe na lng tumitingin kapag nag asdjust ng valve lash clearance adjustment. Di na nila nilalagay sa tdc at rotor position ng distributor.

      Boss gaano po ba ka baba? normally po hindi umaabot sa gitna yung temperature dun sa temperature gauge kahit may thermostat na naka install at running engine. kung below 1/4 yung indication nya dun sa temperature gauge kahit matagal ng runnin yung engine, it could be wala pong thermostat na naka install.

      Sa parting engine, possible po ito ang dahilan. Sa parte ng carburetor, baka yung power valve ay clogged, Sa parte naman ng distributor, baka yung vacuum advancer or mechanical advance nya ay hindi na maganda ang performance. try nyu po watch yung video ko about sa power valve and sa distributor timing.

    Good day Lodi ask ko lang ano kaya problem bagong over haul pero after 1week nag bago na ang idle nya at pag itinakbo na sa highway at mga 2km mamatay ang makina pero istart naman agad kaya lang mataas agad ang temp nya,,,engine nya f6,, thanks

      Boss nung nag start po after mamamaty yung makina ok naman po yung andar nya ulit kahit mataas yung engine temp? or naka takbo pa ng ilang km tapos na matay ulit yung makina?

      Boss try nyu po check kung gumagana po yung automatic choke nyu, pwede nyu po check yung choke plate kung naka close bago nyu paandarin yung makiina. tapos pag start nyu po ng engine, dapat bahagyang mag oopen ito ng kaunti kasi mag kakaroon na po ng vacuum dun sa choke actuator, tanggalin nyu lang po temporarily yung rubber boot in between dun sa carburetor intake and air cleaner para ma kita nyu at ma observe nyu yung choke plate. pag ok nman po yung choke plate, try nyu po check yung distributor cap, minsan nag momoist po yung sa loob at naapiktohan yung mga contact points, pero pag nag init na yung makina, na wawala na yung moist. try nyu lang po check tapos punasan para ma dry.

      Boss bali na reresurface po yung engine block, minsan po kasi pag na damage yung old cylinder head gasket, may naiiwan pang mga residue ng gasket lalo na pag carbon type, so kailangan ma tanggal yun sa surface ng engine block.

      Boss dami po factor kung bakit mahina hatak ng multicab lalo na pag high load or paakyat. halimbawa lang po ang mga ito.
      1. Timing advancer sa carburetor both vacuum advance and mechanical advance, malaki ang naitutulong nito to command the engine to give more power lalo na sa high load situation. th-cam.com/video/KWzrwlpcNSQ/w-d-xo.html check nyu lang po ito.
      2. Make it sure nasa tamang timing po ang makina, meaning tama ang firing or nasa timing ang combustion ng bawat cylinder, isang cylinder na may intermettent misfire can cause din po ng less hatak or power ng engine, check nyu po ito.

      3. Dapat po gumagana yung power valve dun sa carburetor, dapat hindi butas yung diaphargm at hindi clogged yung daanan ng fuel. th-cam.com/video/Zc3t1ojMoVA/w-d-xo.html
      4. Dapat po gumagana yung accelerator pump, hindi clogged yung daanan ng fuel. th-cam.com/video/ic2WAnJ16Ns/w-d-xo.html
      5. Baka po yung clucth disc manipis na at hindi na masyado nakakapit sa flywheel.
      6, Possible din po sa brake disc. minsan slightly stuck sya sa gulong, check nyu po kung hindi naman umiinit yung rim ng gulong.
      7. Tire pressure, make it sure nasa tama po yung tire pressure ng mga gulong.
      8. Load or karga ng multicab, nkaka apekto di ito sa hatak ng multicab.
      ang mga ito ay nkaka apekto sa power ng engine.

      Boss sa tingin ko lang po ang possible na dahilan ay running rich po yung makina, meaning dami gasolina kaunti lang ang air, possible cause po ay baka stuck po yung choke plate sa close position or slightly open lang yung choke plate kahit mainit na po yung makina, posible din po na clogged po yung fuel return hole dun sa carburetor, it can also cause rich mixture or running rich ng makina.

      Boss same lang naman po, both cam lobe and tappet ay pwede, sa tappet po kasi mahihirapan ka mag insert ng feeler gauge lalo na sa exhaust valve. yung iba po kasi nag aadjust sa cam lobe tapos when they check sa tappet ay iba ang na memeausre nila, kaya nag dadalawang isip kung tama ba yung naging adjustment nila, possible reason po kaya hindi pareho ay hindi po tama yung torque or tension ng mga bolts sa cylinder head, so importante po na tama yung higpit or torque ng mga bolts sa cylinder head lalo na yung nag hohold sa mga rocker arms before mag valve adjust. ang final indication or palatandaan pag mali ang valve adjustment ay tunog ng mga rocker arms. try to visit this additional information sa community section ng channel ko

    Boss sana matulongan moko yung akin is after ko magcarwash ayaw magstart tapos nagbabackfire lng sya ok naman.ang distrubutor walang tubig. Hinala ko yung ignition wire nya nabasa kasi may mga punit yun boss sana matulungan moko

      Boss try nyu po e double check kung nag kapalit po yung spark plug cable ng firing order. pag hindi po mag start at nag babackfire, sign po na wala po sa firing order yung bawat cylinder. try nyu po dun sa distributor cap e check yung connection ng spark plug. try nyu rin yung connection dun sa ignition coil.

    Boss, multicab f6a, nag idle sya pero bumaback fire sa karburador, malinis naman ang karburador. Pinalitan na ng nasa repair kit, bago yung cap at tension wire, ano kaya posibleng dahilan? Di kaya timing?

      Boss may possible na intake valve na hindi nag fufully close during combustion stroke or meron possible timing issue. try to check or replace ang distributor cap baka nag loloose contact kaya palyada ang firing or distribution ng spark sa combustion chamber.

Pag cold engine kasi kailangan ng makina ang rich mixture temporarily para maka pag build up ng normal engine vacuum, pag malamig pa po yung makina, hindi pa fully build up yung engine vacuum para humigop ng gasoline sa carburetor, hindi pa fully expand yung valves and piston kaya may kaunti pang singay, once nag init na po yung engine, fully sealed na po yung mga valves, kung tama po yung valve adjustment, kung hindi po tama halimbawa po sobrang tight, it will cause loose compression dun sa cylinder kahit mag init na yung makina. kaya ilangan po talaga e check isa isa for better engine performance. pero umpisan nyu po e check ang choke plate, kasi importante ito for temporary rich mixture during cold engine start.

      Idol pag tinatakpan ko yung hose sa air cleaner maganda ang kanyang minor hindi cya mamatay pag naka Minor . Tanong ko lang idol hindi ba masisira yung makina pag sarado ang ang vaccum sa air cleaner?

    Bosing bat kaya ung multicab ko..palyado tapos halos mamatay sya pag hndi mag gas pag cold start sya..pero pag mainit na ung makina ok na andar

      Boss check nyu po kung naka fully close yung choke plate bago nyu start sa umaga, remove nyu lang yung rubber boot in between sa carb and air cleaner, dapat fully close po ito, tapos pag nag start kayo ng engine, mag slightly open po ito, at pag mainit na yung engine, ay fully open na po yung choke. so importante po na operational yung autochoke nyu.

      @@piasangabol5329 Boss check nyu kung ano yung nag preprevent sa kanya kung bakit hindi sya fully close at cold engine. it could be stuck yung spring ng autochoke or hindi na gumagana yung thermal piston or yung thermo valve nya. Observe nyu po mna boss yung operation ng choke nyu. Kung ang naging observation nyu ay ok naman ang choke plate at sadyang hindi lang sya naka fully close, pag ganito po kailangan lang po e adjust yung tension spring ng choke plate. watch nyu po yung video 1 sa baba kung paano e adjust yung tension dun sa choke plate, tapos yung video 2 naman ay tungkol sa stuck na choke plate due to stuck yung spring ng auto choke. Importante po kasi na naka close yung choke plate during cold engine for temporary rich mixture, kailangan po kasi ng engine yung rich mixture during cold engine start.

      Maraming salamat sir..nag oover heat naman sya sir..wala ng thermostat wala dn tagas mga hose..una nag ooverflow lang sya sa reservoir pinaltan ko ng rad.cap ngyn naman kht walang rad.cap tumataas sya..d k alam kng water pump na o madumi lang radiator nag kakalawang kasi ung radiator
