    A pinch or 2 of turmeric in the Ginger peach smoothie would add an appearing golden yellow colour as well as health benefits.
    I will give them all a try. Thank you.

      A bit of turmeric could be added too! I like the addition of carrot for some extra orange colour 🥕

    Hi Meghan,
    Just seeing this. I LOVE your key lime smoothie but hubby wasn’t too fond, so I’m going to change it up and turn it into an orange cream cicle and use fresh squeezed OJ with some zest and omit the spinach so it’s a vibrant orange color🧡

    I just made the Key Lime smoothie--OMG soooo good; I tweaked it to include a handful of frozen organic spinach/kale in lieu of adding ice cubes and a splash of coconut extract. I just had to subscribe to your channel and now cannot wait to try your other recipes and holistic healing tips.

    • @wrbball25
      @wrbball25 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      hi!! obviously there are plenty of different fruits you could add for sweetness instead of banana, but if you’re looking for something to make your smoothies thicker and creamier w/out banana, i highly recommend adding either a bit of avocado, yogurt or some oats!! whenever i’m out of bananas i reach for those in my smoothie 🥰

    This may sound silly but all I have in my freezer is frozen cauliflower rice. Would that work? And how much should I use?

    • @mrmcnugget99
      @mrmcnugget99 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that would work. It is still cauliflower/a veggie. You can add a little and see if you like the taste and maybe add more for better texture. I would maybe add half a cup or a cup. But tbh im not good with measurements I just add it 😂😅

    • @meghanlivingstone
      @meghanlivingstone  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question! Yep that should still work as long as it isn’t a seasoned cauli rice 🤗

    • @maggz253

      @@meghanlivingstone thanks so much! It’s not seasoned so I’ll definitely use it ☺️

    @sauradiparoychoudhury8616 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    DISCLAIMER:- All are good but you shouldn't add limes(or lemons) and milk(any kind of milk) together.
    The combination of lime and milk is so dangerous for our health.😐

    • @Anna.Maria.B.
      @Anna.Maria.B. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really? Why? This is the first I've heard of this

    • @sauradiparoychoudhury8616
      @sauradiparoychoudhury8616 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Anna.Maria.B. you can search about it. Milk any citrus fruits are opposite to each other and shouldn't be consumed together.
      Even citrus fruits (like limes) were traditionally used to make paneer out of milk.
      Consuming them together maybe seriously damaging for health and can cause vomit and headache and certain digestive problems.
      (PS. You can simply google about it. Just type "Why should we never consume milk and lemon together", you'll get the answer)
      Stay well.💝💝
      Love💝

    • @sauradiparoychoudhury8616
      @sauradiparoychoudhury8616 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@meghanlivingstone Hey Meghan!
      I truly loved other smoothie recipes of yours!
      But it's not a myth it's a fact.
      Research has showed it and many had faced serious digestive problems (even for a few day) due to this combination of MILK and LIMES...!!
      But anyways other smoothie recipes looks really good! Keep it up.

      That pertains to dairy milk. Here she is mixing lime with coconut milk, so it's fine.

    No sweet for me EVER! I throw up (literally) if I eat something sweet. To me, sweet foods taste horrible! "Gag me with a spoon" as they said back in the '60s.
