In Hinduism, Saraswati has peacocks and swans as her messengers whereas Benzaiten sama has dragons and snakes as her messengers.
Benzaiten is not Sarswati, rather, she has been inspired by Sasti or Shakti, or even both
Saraswati statues are almost always naked and have dark skin tone. Baizaiten statues has white complexion and always wore oriental cloth. Huge difference in culture.
Lord Daikoukuten is the Lord Shiva. I always knew it.
Is bodhisattva counted in HOTOKE?
Yes. Hotoke is a broader term of them.
