- We take tacos serious. There are countless solid taco establishments in and around Bakersfield. We have a call on our emergency hotline with a tip on a place tucked into east Bakersfield that was putting out the best tacos in central California. We went over to confirm this report. For you guys that are not from the area, the place is called “tacos el paisita” located 2130 virgina ave Bakersfield, CA

My family and I stopped there while passing through bakersfield. WOW! So good! Tacos el paisita made tender asada and moist yummy toetillas. We also tried the pastor taco and chorizo. Everything was on point. Thanks for telling us about this spot. ❤

Been there it’s good if u want another spot that is good is almost on the corner from Panama lane and cottonwood it’s a lady on a small stand and after your done u can go to the corner and get your churros
If it's the spot with the al pastor tacos, they did not impress at all. However, on that same corner there's a small stand with a couple who sell tacos al vapor. They only sell asada and cabeza. Those tacos are damn good

@@rockyhale1407 On the exact corner of Mt. Vernon and Virginia Ave. The cokes were probably 2 dollars each, Orchada probably same. It was 16.50 for all. Probably 6-7 dollars?
Imo the handmade tortillas make the best tacos. Not all taco spots have them handmade

I went there a few months ago and they were ok, they didn’t season the meat that day so they were not that flavorful and needed salt ...I’m gonna give it 1 more chance to see if it was just a bad day the first time I went

it's the best tacos for him cause he lives near that area/ taco stand. If you think about there will always be a better taco stand than the one you think is "the best," you just have to find them in their unique locations and if your really hungry any taco will taste amazing
