How to Search, Find and Join a Discord Server

- Searching for new Discord Communities is easy with Server Discovery. In this titillating How-To video, you’ll learn where this feature is in the desktop app. Navigate to the bottom of the sidebar to find the compass icon that reads “Explore Public Servers.”
Go ham, egg and cheese on the search bar to discover featured Discord servers about anything from gaming, to music, art, student hubs, education, science, tech (short for technology), or just about any other place that you can imagine, have imagined, or ever will imagine in this temporal reality.
Once you’ve found a Discord server you want to join, you can click on it to enter “Preview Mode,” which gives you the opportunity to lurk and get a feel for the community before you join - a chance to scope things out before you decide that you want to get in on the action. Once you’re ready, just press the eponymous “Join” button and it will trigger a series of complex digital mechanisms that will seamlessly allow you to enter your new community.

I know you can go in desktop site but it doesn't feel comfortable because all the buttons are small.

Damn nice. Can you tell us when you're fixing your UI too? Maybe make a How-To for it as well. Sure, there are some nice things but the cons outweigh the pros tenfold
The last update made the discord app feel terrible. Everything feels laggy and clunky, it was perfectly smooth and fine before why change it. The animations all look like 15 fps. Awful redesign

fix your mobile app please, i cant preview images, the chat just freezes and i can only see 1 text channel even when i switch to others and just general lagginess. also :) turns into an emoji please let us disable that i hate it

my friend send me a link to his discord channel when i search it on the browser it brought me to Log-in my account in discord. when i logged in. i didnt see the actual channel, i only see the home page of the discord.
Discord needs VR support, that would be dope to sit in a virtual room to talk with others in calls
the new update completely broke the mobile app and didn't improve it in any way. the videos either straight up don't play or go completely black and only play audio, restarting the app fixes it for an average of 4 videos for me

yeah ui is huge, font is bolder, profile banners dont load, messages dont send smoothly anymore, and a bunch of other random additions. I like the thing that directs you to general chat instead of just saying "you do not have permission to send messages in this channel"
