Charlotte has a lot more to offer. From shopping. To nightlife. Big city feel. Museums. Good job market. If you want a small town vibe then go to Raleigh.
I've done both big and small. It all comes down to preference. And close access to Durham opens up a lot to be fair
I live in Raleigh, but I’m rolling with Charlotte on this one! The people in Raleigh don’t do it for me. In Charlotte is very similar to where I’m from (Nashville) very large and lively and people are very friendly. People in Raleigh are standoff-ish and not as friendly. More to do into Charlotte along with infrastructure is better in Charlotte. Raleigh is tiny. Charlotte has a lot of cultural and Raleigh really doesn’t (Durham does).
Definitely a generalization. But each city is going to speak differently to different people for sure

I agree Charlotte is better than raliegh.
There are only 796 openings for research scientists in Raleigh. That’s not enough for millions of researchers.
I wasn’t saying millions of openings. I’m saying we get a lot of research openings AND existing researchers coming in on temp based jobs to do research. Same thing for traveling nurses, professors, etc.
I lived in both cities. Charlotte has everything Raleigh has and more except for peace. But if you go outside Charlotte which isn't that far maybe 15 miles you can get the peace you need. Millbrook 1991. I live in Toronto Canada now and I would easily pick Charlotte over Toronto. Better weather, food, people, location traffic, access to the mountains, beaches, and other major cities. Charlotte is the shi@#!
It all comes down to preference! I prefer a little less urban and a little more suburban. Especially coming from DFW
I’ve been Charlotte for 3 years and thinking of moving to Raleigh I appreciate this video! I need a smaller city coming from the Twin Cities Charlotte is amazing and it’s beautiful but I HATE driving here, there is much to do. But I’d rather visit then have this hustle and bustle every day of my life!

Depends on what part of the mountains you go to but yes 1hr ish with traffic to some parts
How do y’all feel about RVA?
Definitely opens up travel. I'd rather see upgrades to the airport in terms on flight paths but it is what it is.
At the end of the day all that matters is crime. So if you want a crime video would get you hits !!
