Priceless. I'm doubled over with laughter. I didn't remember these scenes but it reminds me that at least for the first few years, The Lucy Show had moments that matched the hilarity of I Love Lucy.
Now that ballroom scene is what is called "clearing the dance floor!" Hilarious! LOL! I have not laughed this hard in a very long time! Skate Fever, thank you for sharing!
The scene was cut off in the end...she re-enters the room with algae and moss on her because she fell into the pond, and Viv laughs at her. I think Garry Marshall (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley) wrote this script. I think it was his first script for Lucy.
Never again will you see clean, funny and hysterical comedy like I Love Lucy and the Lucy Show. They will go on till eternity. God bless you Lucy Vivian Desi and Bill in Heaven.❤😂 Jimmy
I grew up watching "l love Lucy and the "lucy show, but l do go for l love Lucy it was my favorites shows, l still do watch them and l still get a kick out of it, 😂😅😊
this script is very similar to an episode of Here's Lucy when Lucy and Vivian wanted to both date a captain of a cruise ship.. The actor playing the waiter, played the waiter and other characters in various episodes of The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy..
Yes and she was even older Mame was 1974 - so she would have been 63. I thought that she must have had a stand in doing the rollar skating scene at Macy's since the rollar skating skit was more complicated and faster. Also before Mame she had had the terrible ski accident when one leg was broken in four places. (A skier crashed into her on the slopes)

Lucy was such a gutsy lady: at her age entering the dinner arena in roller skates: she loved her craft!
This might just be the best moment ever. And IM not a fan of having favourites, but her dance with Mr Mooney is amazing.
Lucy really shows her ability to do great slapstick comedy.
I just watched John Ritter on Three's Company on roller skates, lol. Love Lucy's long dress and pink scarf.
The antics of Lucy and everyone were so funny.😂

Me too me too she was brilliant and amazing Ms. Lucille Ball. Brilliant.
A genius of physical comedy.

Incredible talent, funny as heck. That was a lot harder than it looks. True skill to pull that off!

Even though funny, the skate dance scene was also beautiful.
60+ years and still funny. I own all 6 seasons of "The Lucy Show" and all seasons of "I Love Lucy"
Hysterical!!! Lol
Lucy, Viv and company. Funny stuff.
I don't know who invented the scene with dancing on the skates, but the scene is worth of entering the ball on the skates....
Charlie Chaplin was one of the first, in "The Rink".
I'm chocking
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
love it ! thanx
I love she purposely flips the tray out of the waiter's hands.
Written by Garry Marshall and Jerry Belleson
This is soooo funny. Was it live? Because if not, the rehearsals must have been hysterical. Still laughing.
Lucy the best female comedian 🤣 👏 😂 😆 ❤❤
She used this in Mame...the Macy's sequence.

So funny
Haha 😅
This is actually very good skating on Lucy's part, unless it was a body double but she did do most of her own stunts.
It's joe ❤
好看
Omg😂
Most embarrassing moment for lucy
She’s kinda making me wanna do that
She is like a copy of my sister.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
à partir de 4 mn 40
Lucy really acted like a mental patient in these shows.
My friend's father hated Lucy.
Why is she wearing skates
Another stupid plot, complete with insipid dialogue, over-acting and unfunny jokes. How did this show ever survive?
Why watch it if you felt it was so unfunny. I have seen this several times and continue to laugh
