From the time that I was a child in 1960. I adored Lucille Ball. I wrote to her and she sended me her picture with her signature in New York. I still am watching her on TH-cam
Two of the all time comedic greats-Dick Van Dyke and Lucille Ball-together! Dick was amazingly physically flexible; both were talented in so many ways-including pantomime (performing without speaking, like the legendary Marcel Marceau!
I've only seen a handful of episodes of this program, and I'm not gonna lie; the pantomime skits were some of my favorite sketches from it. Thanks for posting this episode in particular! :)
Couldn't Stop Laughing 🤣😅😂🤪...O.M.G. What talent they had but then. Makes one wish we could turn back time. We all loved Lucy💖, Thank God we have her on reruns for evermore xxx 😇
As I've gotten older of course maturity comes on and that old saying holds very true, you don't know what truly have till you lose it, Lucille Ball was truly a very very Bright Gem thats still as bright as ever, she gave us a 100% of herself each time she was on stage or film she truly wanted to be the best she could be and she was her energy was unbelievable and of course her comedic Talent was through the roof couldn't thank her enough and her wonderful family
I loved💕seeing Dick & Lucy perform together. Especially the closing song & the those two hip bumping till the very end. Then, the Beautiful Kiss💋💋between them to end the show. A True Gentleman, a Truly Beautiful Woman, & True Memories to Last Forever.
Andy Kaufman was hilarious... what a treat to see him here...he may have been a jerk in life, but a comedically talented performer. Thank you very much
In the first scetch that HAD to be Lucy's daughter as the first customer. Lucie also made at least one appearance on "The Lucy Show" as a "friend" of hers. Both Lucy's children were very nice looking! Once Desi Arnez Jr. Left the show it just wasn't the same. It needed BOTH kids to keep going
This is classic comedy that relies on imagination and pure talent! There are NO props here, yet you believe everything that they are doing! It’s like a beautiful choreography between them!!
Here we have two legions of physical comedy! I am thinning the young Lady who was Lucy's customer at the opening was her own daughter, Lucie but I am not sure
*Yeah, some coffee be'd nice, thank you* "Do you remember our honeymoon night?" Great line: "I think you melted my dentures" Barry Van Dyke is the young man Lucy is about to marry.
Wow, this is amazing! I never knew about this show. Thanks for the upload. But something caught my ear while watching so I gotta ask. Does anyone else hear some guy in the audience saying "sh*t" during the first sketch? I heard it, then heard it a couple of more times in the same voice. It starts a little past 2:09
Lucy was so regal and refined. We couldn’t see it because she was always clowning around. It’s a testament to her amazing talent.
Wow! Two classic people so great in the same show together!
Yes, indeed!
Please see my message🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
WOW! Lucy still had it, years after her I Love Lucy days. RIP, dear Lucy. You have gifted such joy to your fans on this planet.

The king and queen of physical comedy; TOGETHER. Second ONLY to Red Skelton!!!
Its a good thing Dick is still with us in his late 90s still going strong
And Carol Burnette !!and Lucille Ball and Harpo Marx

I love this. I hope you continue posting those specials or appearances that Lucille Ball made in 60's and 70's in a lot shows with talented people.
Van Dyke and Co. was one of my favorite shows of the 70s.
The Dick Van Dyke caricature on the title card used to scare me.
I've only seen a handful of episodes of this program, and I'm not gonna lie; the pantomime skits were some of my favorite sketches from it. Thanks for posting this episode in particular! :)
I swear I had NO IDEA that Dick van Dyke had a his own variety show
Amazing! I miss lucy so much please keep posting videos like this would love to see more

With the right material Lucy was still at the top of her game. When I first looked at this she seems so young I thought it must be from the 60's.
She doesn't look 65 at all. Such a lively lady!

Thanks For The Ride Down Memory Lane Dick Van Dyke Was Great And Lucy At Her Best
My two favorites together! Doesn't get any better! Thank you!!!!!!
They don't make them like that anymore. Loved it.💕👍
I never heard of this show. Cute. His son Barry and he are so young. I only saw his son on Diagnosis Murder.
This is fantastic. Thank you for posting.
Lucille Ball, the first lady of TV. Blown away by Andy Kaufman appearance, I had no idea he was on Dick's show. Awesome.
Never saw this one; thank you!
Brilliant 👏👏👏
If this show isn’t on DVD it should be. These are two of the biggest royals in comedy, together. Just a perfect pairing.
Major lucy fan 😍😍😍😍😍😍
That was simply delightful 😘
Two good comedians! 😀
Wow I miss all the old stars from my childhood.
What a missed opportunity for Lucy and Andy Kaufman to work together.
Two of my fave comics.
oh wow Andy K on the show? Had no idea :) nice surprise
Very funny with two extremely talented comic geniuses. However the last skit reminds me how we take facebook selfi nowadays 😀😀😀
wonderful

that isn't Lucie Arnaz.
When comedy was clean and funny!! 🎭🎭

LOVE 💙 IT.
Genius.
I loved for him to sing to me 2 lol
Shame this show did happen sooner before the Variety genre faded to late Saturday nights (i.e. SNL, MadTV)

I think you are hearing the suction sound effect when he "tries on" each new part?
So this is where Urqel got his ideas from! :)
9:36
Bruh I'm sleep 🤣🤣🤣
The two of them to together too funny smh one of them is enough but two lol.
I wasn't even born in 76 lol
Ah role ah mingo
the fake applause was always deafening. I used to think when I was a kid, what did that many people think was so funny..
When ya put comedy giants in sketches that are not funny ya still end up with a failed series 🙎🏼
Boy, Carol Burnett made variety look easy...this wasn't very good show..
I hate victory Van Dyck
Shut up
Jem, why do you hate him? What did he ever do to you?
