  • From director Ursula Macfarlane (Untouchable) and producer Alexandra Lacey comes an unflinching and humanizing examination of the life, death, and secrets of Vickie Lynn Hogan - better known as model and actress Anna Nicole Smith. From her first appearance in Playboy in 1992, Anna Nicole’s dizzying ascent was the very essence of the American dream, brought to a tragic halt with her untimely passing in 2007. With access to never-before-seen footage, home movies, and interviews with key figures who have not spoken out until now, this film reveals new insights into the story of the quintessential blonde bombshell hardly anyone really knew.

Tyler she told the rest of us about how she had, and/or has sympathy. A lot of sympathy. To share? It's the most important impactful thing and you obviously don't see that. Ciara was also busy for years running numbers and doing spreadsheets trying to determine the following quantities...
How much "messiness" was enough for her fans? ♾️ incalculable quickly approaches infinity. 📈
Still had enough time to double check and categorize all the toxic fans as liars or not. Busy busy girl, just creating news stories. This time a simple but broad narrative about this stupid old story. I was a fan. I watched parts of her modeling and adult filmography quite a bit. Its not a tragedy when a group of 200million family, friends, reps, fans, coworkers, strangers and all the citizens of America build and live together in this world. Up each other's asses sometimes. Then just watch this shit unfold. Some to her and plenty of other stuff from and due to her choices, poor support. It's sad stuff but it isn't really special or rare. She loved her son so much, your can tell she was a kind hearted person but she was so misguided because all she saw was dollar signs.
    She was a glutton.
    She was a liar.

He also mentioned Anna Nicole Smith, that she died, likely due to addiction, etc. and how serious it was... and the audience laughed, even though it wasn't a joke. He reprimanded them, telling them literally "It's not a joke... she died".

Even I find myself being drawn by her. When I watched the documentary, I found myself smiling when she smiled. She definitely had a hold on people’s hearts. You couldn’t help but feel both happy and sorry for her.
However, even after all these years, I still am unraveling how manipulative she was. She knew how to get to the top. But she flew too close to the sun.

Anna Nicole's story is very sad and she was such a sweet and special person, but with that said I don't understand this need to rewrite history once people pass away tragically. I remember most of the era in which she was known, and number one; nobody appreciated her until she passed, she was seen as a very loud, messy socialite - and two; yes she was special, but no she was not an icon. She barely made enough impact for that. I adored her at the time and I was one of the few. I hate that as soon as people pass now, we all collectively not only pretend we always loved them, we also feel the need to overstate the significance of their work. They were good people - she was a good person - that was always enough, and it's enough now.

According to her psychiatrist she had a personality disorder, but I believe she was bipolar type 1. She was high and low constantly, deep depressions that was debilitating and manic episodes where she was completely out of control. A lot of people who has not been diagnosed correctly uses drugs to cope, and she used a lot. She did not have people around her that was good for her in any way. I think if she had good mental health professionals, medication for bipolar 1 and good people around her she would live a normal good life and still be alive.

I don’t think the people that came into her life could ever understand those attributes in a person so beautiful. They were all just opportunists. Her family too. No wonder she only felt the love when she was infront of all the fans and paparazzi.

The first time I saw her was in one of those GEUSS commercials. I thought she was stunningly beautiful. She definitely had that something about her and still does to this date. It's too bad the drugs took their toll on her. Never destroying her beauty, only her will to live that evening.
She gambled with life and I wonder why, because she was so successful and achieved her goal...What was there to be sad about? I know people will say it was depression but she was bubbly and outgoing in most descriptions. Did it sneak up on her, did the fame become too much, or was it all drug related wreaking havoc on her mood.
And how was it that Lawyer "Howard" was so aloof to her depression and desire to die that he would allow her to take medicine without any supervision? She might have gotten them elsewhere, but she would've had to look past me if I was a true friend.
This is one of the saddest celebrity deaths in my lifetime. I hope her daughter is doing alright and does not reap any of her mother's sadness. Her father kept her out of the spotlight thus far. Bravo to him! Nice documentary. Very sad.

After I watched this documentary I changed my opinion on ANS. She was not so sweet. The way she treated her mother for instance was just horrible. She was a bit of a spoiled brat. She lied about her drug use in each interview and was not a good mother to Daniel. In my opinion her actions taught him that drug use is normal. Sure she was very cookie and likeable but i do think we are not tough enough in our society on drug use. In Hollywood it is still considered cool and edgy to get high. And yes I too watched her reality show but in hindsight it was just so empty, filled with people with no morals.
