@@lotusgrl444 the tried to make him look like some random guy who, after anna died, they made it seem like he was trying to basically steal anna nicoles baby from another man (howard stern, who was anna's lawyer and companion she was hooking up with) since anna was with howard stern when she died, stern took immediate custody of the baby and like.. assumed it was his.. there was a big custody battle and it turned out the baby was larry birkheads but all thru the custody trial and waiting for dna results in the news etc they made it seem like larry was this horrible guy for trying to take the baby from its home with its grieving father (howward was not the actual father tho.. he was just there when she was born since larry and nicole were not together at the time)
personally i never saw larry as a bad guy he seemed to care a lot about anna, was pretty sure from the start taht it was hisbaby and wanted to be in his daughters life obviously, and he still continued to go thru all the legal processes and do everything by the book to get custody and raise his daughter. . howard stern was also WITH anna when she died and had been supplying her with drugs.. they were both heavily and obviously into drugs at the time.. i dont think he's a bad guy and he obviously ALSO cared about anna and was grieving, but a drug addict isnt the person to be raising a baby. especially when theres a non-drug-addict father who's willing and able to step up and do whats best.
i mean, the whole thing was sad ... and i can see it from the other man's side as well ... he was with anna when the baby was born and was there for the first several months or however long it was (i cant remember) of the baby's life and was attached.and im sure it was super painful to give her up and transfer custody to the biological father.. but its not your child just because you were dating/hooking up with the babies mom when she was born. and it was equally painful for a biological father (larry) to know he has a daughter out there and heaving been unable to see her or raise her at the time. i saw it as just a sad situation all around.
i think the best outcome was made for the child in the end tho.
I remember when Larry was in the middle of all that drama. He had to prove he was the father of his baby. When the DNA came back you could tell he was so happy. This was a great experience for all of us to see Larry again. He genuinely appreciated everything Tyler told him. I think it will put him at ease now and perhaps he will find someone as special as Anna to share his remaining days with . He deserves it.

Just watched the Anna Nicole Smith documentry on Netflix and was horrified when her friend said that she hated Larry. I remembered this episode and thought to come and watch it to remember what Tyler had said. How aweful was her friend to say that in the documentry when clearly they did have some sort of special relationship. Perhaps they just didnt know it? Seems all so strange to me. Larry seems like hes been an amazing father. And as someone else said, just the fact we dont really know much about her duaghter these days speaks volumes. If Larry was really after fame etc he would of splashed her all over the media and taken advatage, but he never did.

I feel like it was a one sided love. Like Larry loved her but Anna looked at him as a donor. I feel like Anna should at gotten a donor through a anonymous donor. Anonymous donors dont even know about them having a bio kid until the kid is 18 anyway. She wouldnt had to worry about the whole custody thing with Larry the last 4 months she was alive if she went the anonymous donor route.

I'm so glad that Larry was open-minded enough to have a reading. This reading really gave him validation about so many issues that he needed closure on. Have you watched Matt Fraser?? I think that's how his name is spelled. He's just as compassionate as Tyler with alot more "NY attitude" as well. Larry has raised Dannielynn so well, and she’s a very well-spoken young woman. He makes sure to share as much of her mother as possible with her. There are lots of people who exploit their kids. Larry Birkhead is NOT one of them. He has never, ever pushed his (and Anna’s) daughter into the business, and never will. He saw firsthand what it can do to someone’s life.

Anna did not die 3 days later but she did try to keep Howard as the father!!! Just to be sure I looked it up Dannilynn born 9/7/07 A.N.S. died Feb.8 2007 makes it 5 mo.later I remember it well how Larry had to fight for his daughter!!!!
Yeah, I remember that too. Anna Nicole started out a simple girl looking for a career in modeling and acting. Certain people she came across, when they saw her, only saw $$$.
I believe Anna got started with genuine intentions. But others hijacked those intentions and behaved as vultures towards Anna. By the time Anna figured it out, it was too late and she was obligated and wasn’t allowed to tell anyone what or who she was obligated to.
It was probably just nude pictures that no one else knew about, which held her captive, in those days. Now It’s even more sinister. Anna meeting Larry was, I think, a chance meeting.
When people like Anna go to events, they’re only steered towards “approved” people. Larry wasn’t “approved”, but Anna met him and was in a relationship with him. Which the vultures around Anna didn’t want to happen.
So they did everything they could to split them up. Anna split up with him to keep him out of it. I think Larry knows a bit more than what he’s saying. But, is out of it and in Kentucky, so he prefers to stay that way.
And is very protective of dannilynn cause he knows the danger may still be around and waiting for dannilynn to turn 18. That would explain his paranoia. Once you raise a child in the right way, they don’t usually depart from it. If they get involved in a shady business, they’ll stay away from the nasty characters.
I don’t think anyone knew she was pregnant with Dannilynn till it was too late. She was being kept out of the public eye. She had the baby and then she quickly died. The vultures she was around probably had plans for that baby that weren’t good at all. But Larry found out and got in the way. The judge ordered a paternity test and established Larry as the biological father of dannilynn, thank God.
I don’t believe the man who said he was dannilynn’s father had good intentions. I don’t believe anyone but Anna and Larry had good intentions towards dannilynn. Dannilynn should be nearing 18 by now, if she isn’t already.
@@destinywhite2063 That is often the case unfortunately. It sounds like she had a shaky relationship with her mother and family. She went to live with her aunt in Mexia I guess to get a fresh start. Her first husband provided stability a bit before he passed.

My family and I were always standing in support with Larry. We LOVED Anna Nicole, even when I was a kid I loved her, so when she passed I was absolutely devastated (as was my mom and grandma). We knew Larry was a great guy, I’m glad to see he continues to be so. He loved Anna so much.

I adore Larry … I was so ecstatic when he went public after proving he was Dannilyn’s father … I can’t imagine the stress and emotional roller coaster ride this man has been through. You guys want to see strength? Look at Larry Birkhead. What an amazing job has done and continues to do. All little girls should be so fortunate. I always has a soft spot for Anna Nicole … She was pretty strong too IMO. I know how she feels (in a much smaller scale) to have everyone constantly trying to sponge off of you and not being able to trust no one. RIP Anna Nicole and it was sad to hear about lil Sugar Pie😢❤ Hopefully Sugar Pie and Anna are together again❤️

Larry has done a remarkable job with his daughter- he put her first when she needed it most and I commend him for that. He seems like a very sweet calm soul- something Anna Nicole needed much in her life...peace, love and consistency.
When Larry said it's been 16 years since ANS passed away I nearly fell off my chair !! Wow ! Danielynn looks EXACTLY like her mom. I'm so happy Larry was the dad because Howard K Stern gives me the creeps. RIP DANIEL AND ANNA NICOLE SMITH !!!!❤😢

Anna lives on through her daughter. It was such a shock to me when I heard of her passing. Especially, knowing that she just had a baby girl and, yet, lost a son at the same time. Larry is an amazing father. He stepped in, stepped up, fought, and did the right thing. He deserves happiness

Look up her story. The death of her son and herself was right when dannylynn was born. Circumstances are wild.. then her attorney fought Larry for custody of the baby!!!!
Wow, I thought everyone around the world knew about this situation. Please as stated above, research it. It was a very crazy story heartbreaking, but in the end turns out to be a happy ending.

I think her lawyer "boyfriend" had something to do with it. Dude was very shady and I think he had a way of influencing her, especially with the pills. Larry was very good to her, and it's a shame that things went the way they did.
I tip my hat to Larry, he has done a fantastic job being a dad and has handled himself with dignity thruout that whole tragedy.

This was very nice to watch. I have personally been around Larry and his daughter on more than one occasion. Years ago Larry would take Danni Lynn to Great Wolf Lodge in Cincinnati every year for her birthday. I worked there during those years in the entertainment department. The staff was always briefed when they would be coming. The memory that stands out most to me is seeing Larry with Danni by the outside pool. I was one of the outside DJs that day. Now I will say Larry does not do the big Hollywood entourage thing. He does not draw attention to himself, in fact, he avoids it. So, Danni Lynn was swimming in the pool having fun, just being a normal kid. Larry was standing on the side of the pool watching her like a hawk. When I say he was hyper vigilant about Danni, its an understatement. There was another family in the pool swimming in the same area as Danni. Naturally the Mom was taking pictures of her kids on vacation. I could tell Larry was uncomfortable with pictures being taken around Danni. Then, he calls Danni out of the pool, I assume from the paranoia of photograph of Danni being sold. She was in a bathing suit after all. Danni was respectful to her Father and listened. I was impressed. Danni Lynn is not a spoiled Hollywood kid many may assume she is. She is a very girly girl (at least she was at 8/9 years old when I saw her) They always made appointments at Scoops, the kids nail salon. She loved Fiona, the female mascot, who also loved getting her nails done. Let's just say being in the entertainment department for 3 years I was Fiona's Bestie and knew her very well inside and out. Danni Lynn absolutely adores and respects her Dad. I think Larry has done a great job with raising her. It made sense to me that Tyler referred to Anna Nicole acknowledging how Larry has raised Danni Lynn. He has protected her fiercely.
One thing that did strike me of the few videos I saw of her. With all the money (or access to money that he has) I can't for the life of me understand why the kids not in glasses. She clearly is cross-eyed or has (I think) Strabismus.
If he avoids it then why does he do paid interviews for dannielynn? Every year or 2 goes what he drags that child out for money ,I'll be glad when she gets away from him
@@chickasawstarrmountain9747 Larry could have been a typical "stage Dad" and pushed Danni Lynn into modeling, commercials, acting, singing, etc. He could have made sure she became a Disney teen star making millions...he didn't. Research how often child stars are given the opportunity by choice VS ones who are pushed by their parental manager to perform. If you knew anything about journalism, you would know how organised and scheduled it is. Journalism is the result of public curiosity. If there wasn't a demand for an update on Danni Lynn, they wouldn't seek out interviews with Larry.
@@chickasawstarrmountain9747 he still needs to support his child, he was mere a paparazzi photographer when he was with Anna and is now a full time dad who seems to be a helicopter parent like myself, I work from home on purpose to be around my child as much as possible, I have that luxury with white collar experience, Larry may not have those kind of skills. The energy I get from this is that these interviews every few years is a way to provide for his daughter without her being in the spotlight directly, and keeping people updated will help him manage her image and help keep paparazzi and crazed fans at bay. I also think it's a way from him not to keep her too sheltered in case some creepy Hollywood agents come around once she turns 18, she'll have experience and some discernment with some exposure beforehand with her dads guidance. Remember, AS was completely taken advantage of her entire career.
And I also have a feeling by OPs description of his parenting that if he hasn't told her the truth about how poorly the media treated her mother he will eventually, there's this underlying sense of resentment towards the media in his aura, hard to explain but I don't blame him one bit.
What a beautiful soul he is. He deserved so much better. I don't think he will ever be over Anna 😥💔
Anna Nicole and Larry's love story still exists; and it is so good to hear her approval of all Larry's very dedicated fatherly efforts. Hopefully one day they will be together again ❤❤

What really gets me is how I really remember how the media made him look so awful. He is so sweet and I don't feel like it's an act. He deserved better and I hope his life continues to be more gentle on him than it was when the tragedy hit.
He's still beautiful all these years later, inside and out. What a great father he is..I hope he gets out more and enjoys everything about life that he should.
