We were doing the neighbors property when we looked into the backyard of this property and realized it hadn't been mowed all year. It was severely overgrown with a broke down mower surrounded by tall grass and stickers galore.

You went well over and above for this individual who clearly didn’t take responsibility for keeping his yard up for a very long time. A broken mower only accounts for so much, but the whole yard needed hedge trimming, weed eating, tree and brush removal and tree service. Good people like you step in and offer services for free that clearly would have been over $1000 for everything you accomplished. God Bless you.

Glad you are stepping up to help folks who, for one reason or another , cant maintain the outside. Great job today. Question: Have you thought about the next step. Helping repair the mowers that all seem broken. Sometimes it might be simply a belt or debris wound in the blades.
Someone else mentioned that. Mower maintenance is definitely not my specialty, but definitely some thing for me to think about!
And just how much is it to get a lawnmower fixed? Teachers are not that poorly paid (at least here in Canada) and they have all summer off to look after their garden!!

That ride-on mower was a nice find! LOL Hopefully he can get that thing up and running, that would help. With a huge yard like that, push mowing would take forever. Very pretty little place now that it's all tidied up. Great work, as always!

That Red lawn mower is a Husqvarna made craftsman mower the model number is hard to see but you have this yard looking better than before you took it on
Yeah, a couple people mentioned fixing it for him. Mower repair is definitely not my specialty, but probably some thing I should look into!!

I have a craftsman that looks exactly like that built through MTD. If you don’t know how to fix them, see if he can hook up with a small engine, repair man someplace as a sponsor both ways.

It seems a shame they remain embedded in the lawns. Love what you do! If this teacher feels being underpaid, just move over to Germany where especially college teachers are very well paid. Brian, again, nice job! Truthfully, and I know it wasn't your intention to get into a debate on teacher's salaries, but I don't want to hear about the poor teachers who don't make enough money. They have a solid education and if they feel their underpaid, then they can move on from teaching and do something else, just like the rest of us. As for this "poor teacher", he's simply lazy. His mower broke, then get it repaired, just like the rest of us. And, now that your lawn mower broke down, is that the end of Top Notch Lawn Care? And that yard and those trees growing aside of the house didn't get that tall in 3 months. No response needed, just keep up the good work!
His mower was clearly broken more then a what the homeowner claims. But you still did a great job...

Different strokes for different folks...but for me, when under stress, yard work was a balm for the soul.
If he is a teacher it look like someone wlond help him get his mower fixed he helps kids in school all the time people need to help him sometimes teacher needs help too and thinks for helping the teacher out take care of yourself I'm praying for you all 💕🙏

Take this as a teaching opportunity! Fix the mower and teach him maintenance. Now, if he doesn't respond with an honest, thankful gratitude - then you know he's just a lazy SOB and be glad he's not married to your daughter.😊

Couldn’t he have borrowed a friend’s lawnmower when his broke down? At least it would have kept it under control!! The number of people in America with broken lawnmowers - maybe a travelling repairman would be a good idea!!??
So many people have broken mowers, and when you’re short of funds, I can see why they aren’t a priority. Is there anyone you could team up with who can fix the mowers for low cost? Just an idea!

I know teachers claim yhey are underpaid, but honestly, I have never earned what a teacher makes. What job offers as many days "off" in a year as worked? What job gives you ALL holidays??? Sorry but I am never sympathetic to the teacher's plight. Blue collar working class still has it harder.
