@@Golden_Queen_888true but if you make a lot then it’s worth it! Potatoes tend to take a good amount of time to cook any way you try to cook them but there’s also different recipes you can try! Ouu also if you cut them smaller they cook way quicker! You can even reduce the cooking time to 30 mins total for everything just by cutting them slower but they’ll be more bite sized than these
@@riktijhuis3816dude you are amazing! I was always so confused as to what people meant when they said it was in the description. Thank you so much for this!
This is the best roasted potatoes I have ever done. Now that I got myself an air fryer toaster oven.👍 Cut up the potatoes in quarters. Drizzle evoo in the cut up potatoes in a bowl, add in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, and parsley flakes. Then mix. Layer the potatoes on parchment paper, air fryer at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Keep turning them every 5 minutes till golden brown. You're welcome and enjoy! 😋
Right on, I'm cooking for a woman tomorrow and she requested roasted potatoes and this was the second video that popped up. I didn't know I would need to boil the potatoes. Consider your recipe stolen. Thank you very much, I will impress her now
I know right!! I usually just wash, cut up and then put them in olive oil, then seasoning and then put them in the oven for about 25 minutes. But I think I might try this, it might make them taste better.!
I think they would turn out way better if you just omit the boiling part. I cook them in the oven without the boil and it usually takes about an hr anyway, at 400f. Really no need to boil the potatoes as they are even crispier and still very tender.
If you add salt and baking soda to the water when you boil the potatoes, allow them to cool for a few minutes before tossing with the spices. The starches drawn out by the salt cause the potatoes to get just a little mushy on the outside, which results in crispy layers when roasted.
Right, if that's the case then why bother baking them, just fry them instead, I thought the whole idea of baking is to cut some of the fat out compared to frying them...😲
@@IWantToSmashLiberalsWithHammerBoiling will remove a large amount of external starches, much more than you could by rinsing or washing them, which will help you get a crispier and lighter potatoe
They look pretty soft/soggy to be honest. Not crispy at all. You should peel them as well as pre-heat your oil until very hot before adding the potatoes and back into the oven.
I knew I forgot something. That pre-cook is crutial guys
I too am garlic obsessed! These look so good!
I am making it now thank you for sharing it’s already smelling yum 🤤 in the oven I can’t wait 😊

Bake for 60 minutes*
at 30 minutes you want to flip/toss, then put them back in.
Tbsp* of Paprika, onion powder, pepper
1 cup of olive oil is heart attack 😂
Even 15 -20 mins on each side works perfectly...i just tried it that way. No need for 1 full hour😊
Hold on,. 30 min and then again 30 min!?! I can't wait that long!
Yeah they take a long time.. even though they’re just a snack which always discourages me from making them!

Thanks for this recipe. Thanks for washing the potatoes before cooking.😊
Wheres the Kofta and dipping sauce video? They look quite good
Those potatoes look great, but can we take a moment to appreciate that bowl of ✨ Garlic Cloves✨ in the back?

AMAZING RECIPE TRYED IT❤
Can I add some Parmesan to this or will that not come
Out well
400 degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius?
Celsius
This them again?? in the remaining Oil & Seasoning?
Do the seasoning g not burn?
Do the exact same thing but add a tsp of baking soda to the water before boiling the potatoes to make them extra crispy. Trust me. ❤
They look so delicious ❤
yum. I don't think you're allowed to be Middle Eastern and hate garlic. but what do I know I hate babaganoush...well eggplants, okra and turnips.
Me: the one hates garlic 🤡
I met one of us who hates hummus once...

So boil them and then bake them for an hour!! 😮
So what’s the weight of “a whole bag of potatoes”
I tried this recipe and my family loved it!!
I love it too much
Hey, what can be the alternate of baking.. in a pan?? How..
400° Fahrenheit?
Looks delicious 😋
They look so yummy❤️❤️❤️❤️👍✌️😀
Did she boiled the potatoes first?
One hour for ghe potatoes in the oven....a half and then other half hour?
This is a really lovely recipe, thank you for Tom Jesus loves you by the way and he is the only way to heaven so please put your faith in him🙏❤

Thanks mom.!!
How many spices do you want?
Yes
you forgot the tablespoon of baking soda to the boil water. thats what makes them crisp
Or salt

Pov: me doing this 15min min before adan
Nicely done
Finally a foreign youtube that actualy wash their vegetables
Why would that matter to you?
Did u say kosher salt 🧂
WOAH 1 cup of olive oil? Holy shit
An hour for some wedges? Dang they really look good but I don’t have that much time lol
Did I hear it right: 30 min + 30 minutes?
one cup of olive oil???? no way too expensive and too much oil.
shes using a lot of potatoes tho, it prolly depends on how many potatoes u use.
Tell me you aren’t a Costco member without telling me
Hey can we fry these?? If so then for how long??
No cause the seasoning will come off
Yes just put the seasoning on after the Potato's are fried
Cook in air fryer, they come out lovely
Wow
This is probably 75 min of cooking
- 15 min of boiling
- season potatoes
- 30 min of baking
- reseason potatoes
- 30 min of baking
Are you sure you meant ONE CUP olive oil ? That is a lot for so few potatoes.
Recipe 😭? I don’t see it written down 😢
Doesn't using the olive oil make your oven/ home smoky? Maybe it's my old oven?
So you cook your potato’s for an hour and a half?? Wtf?? Nahhhhh
That's what I was thinking 🤣
one hour, is that right? why the break in between?
That ain’t even including the boiling process
1 hour potatoes😮
the break in between is because you need to toss the potatoes so that they’re evenly baked on all sides, and put them back in
I turned the likes into 2k. Also the roast potatoes look great I’m gonna try the recipe.
Very good
Nice
you baked them for 1 hour total? everyone else is baking for 30 minutes
Does it have to be kosher salt? Has the normal salt suddenly started supporting Hamas now lol. Look’s amazing still ✌️
#TeamNoSalt #FreeGaza😂
ian doin allat lmao we gonna just boil them. Great recipe though!
Over an hour for roasted potatoes?
1 hour WHATTTT
i love you so much dude
Baby potato 😂
Bake another 30mins and you’re done lmao kek
LOOKS AMAZING BESTIE 🤍🤍😛
Why is the garlic in the background peeled?
wdym
Why do you ask, is it because you eat garlic without peeling them?
Is it just me that thinks cooking those potatoes 3 times is a little overkill. First a par boil the roasting for an hr.
Crazy patat
Maybe I did something wrong, but boiling them, turn them into mashed potatoes.
👍👍👍
Dam saca I want to make this
a cup of olive oil!
You dont need to cook them if you bake/roast them on thr oven😅
it just makes the process faster than roasting in the oven for hours

2 hours for some potatoes

I agree !!
OP lives in Salem's lot
What is "fortender"
Fork tender. Poke it with a fork and the fork goes through it
Trying this tonight!
400°F or 400°C?
400 degrees F
Why are there potatoes with your garlic
30 minutes!!!!
boil then bake for 1 hour? thats ridiculous
Not at all.
Boiling them gets rid of a ton of external starches which would then help lead to a crispier and lighter potato.
She sounds like Jenna Ortega
if you throw out all that boiled water, out goes all the water soluble vitamins from the potatoes to unfortunately;
